Really well

The next few weeks go by well with Pete taking selifes for his job, taking MJ out on really nice dates and giving her some nice gifts and MJ helping Peter study for his exam. In just a couple weeks Pete can recite the entire book front to back.

"You're gonna ace this test and join me and Ned at M.I.T!" Mj says then realises something "Ned! You haven't spoke to Ned since before the wipe. You promised that you would speak to him too you know"

"Well ya know, I've been busy with my job and studying and hanging out with you. I was just thinking once I ace this test I'll go to college with you and I'll make friends with him again there." Pete explains

"There has to be a way to get his memory back, like you did mine." MJ states

"Well if there is then I don't know what it would be. I'm just thinking I re-introduce myself and we start again"

"But he knew you for so much longer than I did, and knew you were spiderman before I did, and you had that cool secret handshake... Thats it!"

Peter looked at her quizical and asked "Whats it? What did you figure out?"

"The handshake, that's the last you both did before the wipe. We kissed just before the wipe, we kiss that night at my door and my memory comes back. So if you get to do the handshake with him then his memories would, in theory, come back too" MJ explains

"That... could work. The only thing is that handshake was unique. Anyone can kiss but we made that thing togother when we were in middle school. Now he doesn't know who I am I doubt he would remember the handshake."

"That's true. Maybe we should wait until we're at M.I.T and you can slowly build that friendship back up, with the handshake becoming your thing again"

"Let's hope that works. Now quiz me again. The exam is this friday and I can't afford to fail. M.I.T is only accepting the top 3 scores from this so I can't afford to miss a mark if I can help it."
