Ready to be married

You ride triumphantly through the outer wall of your farther's Castle, waving your tail on the spear with Sofia riding beside you. The crowd cheers as you dismount and head inside the keep to your farther's court.

You lay the tail down in front of the king. "Your Majesty, I have defeated the dragon and therefore lay claim to your daughter, the princess, Sofia." You declare doing your best to sound regal.

"Noble knight, it is the tradition to bring the beast's head not its tail as such proof." The king replied doing his best not to look disappointed that is was not Lir before him now.

"I am afraid Sire, In the battle, the head was too badly damaged by the killing blow." You lied.

"Very well, I give you permission to wed my daughter." The king declared. "We will begin preparations immediately."

The King took Sofia to see her mother and you were escorted to guessed quarters. Servants hurry about preparing for the royal wedding. Sofia joins you in your room but you hardly have a moment alone. The Queen comes to visit you. You had seen her when she came to visit her daughter but she had not seen you and did not know that you had seen her. She was tall with long grey hair, blue eyes and a very thin body. The moment she saw your face she knew what you were, one of her husband's bastards.

"Did he send you to claim her? Your one of his. How much did he offer you to take my daughter and keep his blood strong?" She asked spitefully

"He did not send me, He sent that brat, cousin Lir. I went because I love your daughter." You reply.

"It's true mummy, Aurora found a way past the dragon to be my friend though our childhood then she became a knight for me. Daddy sent Sir Lir but Aurora defeated him and the dragon." Sofia confirmed.

A knock came from the door. "Excuse me, your highness, I have been sent to measure Sofia and the knight for their wedding garments." a servant interupted.

"Very well, come in." Barked the Queen.

"Tell me Aurora how did you manage to get past the dragon as my daughter claimed.

Before you could answer the servant who was trying to take your measurements reached for your cloak.
