Reading with Alya

Looking over to Alya, Samus was met with the hologram leaning against her. Oddly radiating heat, it felt soothing against her own attire. Perhaps this was some kind of sign to stay here for a bit.

Opening the book up, Samus took a moment to check for anything in the way of publisher mark. Finding none, the bounty hunter raised an eyebrow. Lasting only a second, it was enough to catch the hologram's attention.

"Is something the matter, Samus?" Alya remarked and watched Samus point to the blank page. Staring for a couple seconds, Alya stared off into the space. "I don't know where exactly this book had come from, but I assume that it has something to do with the Hijab Upgrade. Likely brought here by one of the researchers."

Samus nodded.

By no means the answer she was expecting to get here, it would have to do here. Especially as her gaze returned to the book. Feeling Alya lean against her once more, she began to read.

Enraptured by the words, time seemed to fly by with each flip of the page. While the bounty hunter knew that she wouldn't be able to finish it all in one sitting, she could at least focus on the first chunk of sorts.

"Ms Aran?"

Looking up from the holy book, Samus's gaze met Alya's.

"Is something the matter, Alya?" she inquired and made a mental note of where she had stopped. Then her full attention turned to the hologram. All manners of questions ran about her mind.

"It is recommended you go to bed. We have an accommodation. Or you could just go back to your ship." Alya announced, catching Samus by surprise. Was it really that late? Had to be.
