Read Cherie's Dream
Cherie finds herself back at school, but in her dream she's a teacher. The well lit classroom is quiet, the only sounds the soft rustling of papers and the occasional scratch of a pencil on paper. She is seated at her desk, her eyes focused on the lesson plans spread out before her, when there's a gentle knock at the door. She looks up to see one of her male students, a bright and eager young man with a friendly smile and folder in his arms.
Cherie feels a mix of warmth and responsibility as she welcomes the student into the classroom. Jake is a diligent and curious student who often seeks extra help.
"Ms. Cherie, I was hoping you could give me some tips on my presentation. I want to make sure I do a good job, but I'm a bit anxious about speaking in front of the class."
"Of course, Jake. I'm happy to help," she answers, smiling warmly. "Why don't you start, and I'll offer feedback and suggestions as you go along? Taking a seat at one of the student desks while Jake makes his way to the chalkboard, a look of nervous anticipation on his face. He takes a stack of index cards from the folder, his fingers fidgeting with the edges as he prepares to deliver a public presentation.
Cherie feels a mix of pride and support as she watches Jake, remembering his eagerness to excel and his slight nervousness when it comes to public speaking. She leans back in her chair, her posture relaxed and encouraging, ready to offer her guidance and reassurance. It's her job to support him, to help him build the confidence he needs to shine.
In the way of dreams, the presentation is vague and meaningless, but would probably solve all the world's problems if it could be understood.

At the end of Jake's speech, Cherie offers gentle corrections and suggestions, her voice soft and supportive. "Your introduction is clear and engaging. Remember to make eye contact with your audience. Your content is well-researched and presented, just remember to slow down a bit and take deep breaths if you feel nervous. You've got this, Jake."
"Thanks, Ms. Cherie," he says. "Your feedback is really helpful. I feel more confident already." As the practice session comes to an end, Jake thanks Cherie profusely, his eyes shining with newfound confidence and gratitude. Cherie watches him leave the classroom, her heart filled with pride and satisfaction, knowing that she has played a part in his growth and success.
As the dream fades, Cherie is left with a lingering sense of accomplishment and warmth, her mind filled with the positive impact of her teaching and the joy of seeing her students thrive.
