Randy Williams

After everybody had their say, you were going to be with Randy Williams, the 70 year old handyman. God, how did that happen? You wanted to speak up but you were too timid to say anything. Plus, you didn't want to hurt Randy's feelings, he seemed nice enough.

Still though, you would have chosen practically anybody, except maybe your dad. Whatever, it is what it is.

After the meeting, everybody went their own way. Maggy and your mom checked the fridges and freezes, looking for what they could cook for dinner. All of the men went to check out the generator, water pump, and to plan the planting of the food in the hydroponic farms. You and the rest of the young adults hung out in the living room, making small talk to pass the time.

"I'm sure Randy isn't disappointed in his roommate," snickered Susan.

"He's an old guy, I don't think there will be any issues," you reply.

"You think old guys just stop being interested in doing it? Trust me, they're bigger horn dogs than anyone."

You shrugged and hoped Susan wasn't right. After a nice meal prepared by the moms and getter to know these new people better, everybody migrated towards the living room to watch a movie. It might not be so bad down here, you thought. There wasn't really any work to do. You were already planning on how you would pass the time. Maybe a morning workout, then a shower, then help make lunch, read in the afternoon, and watch a movie at night. Those two things were what were making you nervous though: the shower and what happened at night. Soon enough though, it was time to think of it.

Everybody headed off to their bedrooms after saying goodnight. After walking in, you said to Randy "I'm going to go to the bathroom to change. Be back in a sec." Before you did that, you had to pick something to wear to bed, the bed you would be sleeping next to a man older than your grandpa in.
