Ramona with some allies.

Big looks grim, the fight is clearly going badly for his henchmen. He opens up a cabinet filled withh weapons and grabs an **** rifle and some grenades. Sarah helps herself to a chaingun fitted to a power harness to take the weight and recoil of the massive weapon. Big hands you an uzi and hustles you both towards the door.

"The main entrance is holding out for now." He tells you and Sarah. "But the rear entrance has been over and they're inside the building."

All of you head for the door, but as soon as Big opens it you see a small group of attackers exiting the elevator. Big's guards and the opposing group begin to exchange fire as Sarah, Big and yourself duck back into the suite. Outside in the corridor there's a volley of weaponfire and several large calibre rounds punch through the door. It's certain that the guards outside would have been riddled with bullets.

"Everyone left inside the building retreat to the top floor and secure the hanger area." Big orders into his comm unit. "Prepare to evacuate the building."

Mr big hauls a large box out of the weapons cabinet and sets it down on the floor. He flips a switch on the side and a digital counter begins to tick down. It's set for three minutes.

"Hold this room for two minutes then follow me up." He commands. "I'll have an aircar ready. That bomb's big enough to take out this whole building. We can catch all of these rats in one blast as they close in on us."

Big moves one of his art pieces and a disguised wall panal slides back to reveal a hidden elevator. He steps in and goes up. Sarah has begun to fire her chaingun straight through the door and wall, raking the corridor blindly with a intense hail of bullets. With feet firmly planted she laughs crazily as the chaingun's barrels spin and the doorway disintegrates. You slip up behind her and press the hypospray to her neck.

"Abi wh....?" She manages to say before she slumps ****.

You rush to the bomb and flick the switch on the side, but the timer continues to count down. Using Abigail's laser scalpel you remove the outer cover, revealing the devices inner workings. There is a maze of components and wires inside and you havn't an idea what to do next. The perforated remains of the door explode inwards as the attackers burst into the room. One of them is Ramona.

"That's Abigail." She yells, pointing at you. "Shoot the bitch with the tracer."

Your speed and reflexes only just save you as you leap for cover behind the furniture. You feel two rounds pluck at the flapping labcoat and a third skim your ribs, leaving a burning graze across your side. You cower behind Big's armchair as more rounds punch through the leather upholstery just above your head.

"Don't shoot, don't shoot." You scream. "Ramona it's me. The Fox."

You revert back to your dark elf form and wave your hand above the chair to show big's enemies. You throw out your uzi and stand up cautiously with your hands raised when the shooting stops.

"Big's set a bomb." You tell them bluntly, nodding towards the device. "It's enough to level this building. I hope one of you knows about this sort of shit, otherwise we're about to kiss our asses goodbye."
