Rachel comes to you for advice

Following Griffin and Rachel’s fight, you haven’t seen much of either of the “couple”... if they’re even still together.

With Griffin, it’s understandable. You picked Rachel’s side in their fight, so he’s doubtlessly avoiding you like the plague. But then why have you hardly seen anything of Rachel at all?

You’re hanging in the hall lounge after an early dinner, trying to get some work done, when you spy the dark haired vixen coming down the hall. She’s dressed casually, a t-shirt and skinny jeans, but it’s a classic look for a reason. Her eyes light up when she sees you, and she practically skips the last few steps to get to you, leaning over your table in that casually seductive way of hers, the tits in her shirt struggling not to spill out of their bra.

“Alex! I’ve been looking all over to you. We need to talk,” she says, putting an authoritative hand on top of your books.

“You could have texted me anytime,” you smile, pointing at your phone. “Why didn’t you reach out?”

“You could have too,” she says. Fair point. She laughs and shakes her head. “I thought you were avoiding me for some reason.”

“No way! I just got busy with work and stuff, so didn’t find the chance,” you say. You pause, thinking of how to guide this conversation to where you want it to go. “You doing okay? Not feeling too down after getting rid of that asshole, are you?”

“Actually, that’s what I wanted to talk to you about,” Rachel says, her expression growing more serious. She glances around the lounge, spotting the usual suspects chilling around. “Is there somewhere more… private we could go?”

“My room’s open,” you offer, and she nods.

“Here’s the deal,” Rachel says a minute later, sitting next to you on your bed. “I thought it would be pretty simple after our fight. I mean, he cheated on me, right? That’s it. That should have been it.”

She’s getting a bit teary eyed all of a sudden, recollecting the events from last week. You put a supportive arm around her, inching closer to her on the bed.

“You said ‘should’ have been it. You didn’t dump him?” you ask.

“I was going to,” she says, leaning back against you. “I knew what I was going to say, it was just a matter of finding Griffin and breaking the news, but then… he texted me.”

“Oh, don’t tell me he broke up with you over text,” you say, rolling your eyes.

“Nothing like that,” she says. She frowns. “I don’t know if what he texted was better or worse.”

“You should have blocked him from the start. There’s nothing that a cheater can say to change your mind,” you say.

“I know, I know,” she says. “I read his texts anyways. He said he had a chance to think things through after he cleared his head. He said that he was sorry. So far, whatever.”

“Bullshit,” you agree.

“Then he dropped a bombshell. Griffin told me that things had gotten all mixed up. He said that he and Mars did get together, but that it all happened before we had started dating. Nothing after. Can you believe it?” she asks.

“No way,” you whisper. “Why wouldn’t he just have told you that from the beginning?”

“It’s weird,” she agrees. “It made me think twice about breaking up. I haven’t given him the news.”

“Do you believe him?” you ask.

“I got a friend to ask Mars, and she said that Mars confirmed it, so… I guess?” Rachel says, giving you an uncertain look. “I just don’t know what I should do though!”

She buries her head in her hands, rubbing her temples. The beautiful coed is teary eyed again, sitting on your bed next to you while your arm holds her tight. You ponder your next words carefully.
