Races

Humans - nearly identical to those who descended from earth, the humans are snarlingly referred to as Imperials by the other races. The Human empire possesses more land and a larger population than most of the other races combined. There are very few human settlements outside the empire's boundaries. The humans are feared by many of the other species on the continent for their military might. The High elves however look down on the imperials as depraved apes who are rumored to practice **** and host orgies in their homes.

Elves - distinguished by their pointed ears and noticeably longer lifespan, elves typically live to be about 900 years old. The second largest population on the continent, elves are divided into numerous factions.

High elves - Aristocratic elves occupy over a dozen city states that govern autonomously yet maintain strong military and political ties to one another. These elves prioritize appearances, political influence, family lineages and wealth.

Wood elves - Wood elves live in scattered villages deep in the many forests throughout the continent. Having rejected the pompous lifestyle of the high elves, they embrace a simpler life of focusing on family, community, and harmony with the natural world.

Moon elves - Nomadic elves that travel in caravans. Although they are constantly on the move, they will often take up residency at one of their four sacred shrines for weeks or months at a time. Moon elves are easily distinguished by their skin coloring as unlike other species of elves whose pigmentation resembles that of humans, moon elves' skin is either a pearl white or a bright violet coloring. Because they lack any political standing with the other species, moon elves constantly fall victim to slavers.

Dwarves - A stocky race of people that only grow to be about five feet tall at max. They are proportionally built with broad features. Dwarves dwell in underground mega cities below the western mountain range. It is however not uncommon to find Dwarves in imperial and Elven cities as merchants or mercenaries.

Orcs- A warrior race that once formed a horde which occupied half the continent, after being pushed north by the Human Empire the Orc horde dissolved into numerous warring tribes. Each tribe is led by a Warchief, the strongest Orc in the tribe. Orcs may take more than one wife and are encouraged to breed in order to boost the tribe's numbers.

Wolves - shapeshifters who appear human but take the form of oversized wolves during a full moon. In time wolves learn to shift on command. Wolves live in familial packs, leaving to find a mate and form a new pack once they reach adulthood.

Angelus - while they possess pointed ears similar to elves, Angelus are distinguished by their large feathered wings. Ruled by a caste system, an Angelus' status is determined by the number of wings they develop. The highest class of Seraphim develop three pairs of wings for six wings total. The lowest class of Cherubim develop only a single pair of wings. Angelus dress in revealing outfits, are bisexual by nature and engage in public sexual acts with little restraint. All Angelus live in a single floating city above the clouds and rarely venture to the ground. Angelus are considered by many to be the most powerful race in terms of magical prowess.
