Raccoon room

Miss Clara leads Lillian into the Raccoon room, a cheerful space adorned with drawings of raccoons adorning the walls. The door itself is decorated with a large raccoon, its mischievous eyes seeming to invite Lillian inside. She follows Miss Clara eagerly, feeling a sense of excitement building in her chest as she enters the room.

As they step inside, Lillian takes in the sight of the other littles gathered around.

Miss Clara gathers the littles around in a circle, her warm smile putting them at ease. "Good morning, everyone," she says cheerfully, her voice filling the room with warmth. "Today, we have some new friends joining us, so let's make them feel welcome."

She reaches into a basket and pulls out a stuffed raccoon, passing it around the circle. "This is Rascal the Raccoon," she explains, her tone playful. "When you have Rascal, it's your turn to introduce yourself to the class."

The littles nod eagerly, passing Rascal around the circle as they wait for their turn to speak. Lillian watches with interest, feeling a sense of relief that she won't be the first to introduce herself.

Finally, the raccoon reaches Dave, a man in his mid-thirties who came from daycare. He clutches the stuffed animal tightly, his pacifier firmly in place as he introduces himself in muffled tones.

"I'm Dave," he says around his pacifier, his voice slightly garbled. "I like cartoons and playing with blocks." Lillian can't help but smile at his shyness, feeling a sense of empathy for him as he bravely shares his name with the group.

Next up is Lisa, a woman in her late twenties who introduces herself with a warm smile. "Hi, I'm Lisa," she says brightly. "I'm normally in primary school, but I had a little accident yesterday, so I'm back in preschool for now but I'm still a big girl." With a playful grin, she pulls down the waistband of her pants to reveal the pull-up beneath, causing a few giggles to ripple through the group.

Lillian can't help but admire Lisa's confidence, though she can't help but notice that the pull-up looks a bit soggy. She keeps her thoughts to herself, however, not wanting to embarrass anyon

Finally, it's Lillian's turn to introduce herself, and she feels a flutter of nerves in her stomach as all eyes turn to her. Taking a deep breath, she stands up straight and clears her throat, summoning her courage to speak.

"Hi, everyone," she begins, her voice trembling slightly with nerves. "My name is Lillian, and I'm new here. I just moved to The Colony with my partner Stefan, and I'm excited to be here."

As she finishes speaking, she meets the gazes of the other littles, feeling a sense of relief wash over her. To her surprise, they greet her with warm smiles and nods of encouragement, making her feel instantly welcome in their midst.

Miss Clara beams at Lillian, her eyes sparkling with pride. "Thank you, Lillian," she says warmly. "We're so glad to have you here with us."
