Shirou Emiya strolled through the moonlit streets of the city of Vale, the shattered moon hanging above casting a silver glow over the pavement.

The city was unusually quiet, as if the very air held its breath in anticipation of something momentous.

He couldn't help but reminisce about the time, he and Chaldea had arrived in this world, a world called Remnant.

An unusual name for a planet.

Existence of Grimm, creatures that had kept humanity in constant fear and conflict, brought no where as much of surprise that shattered moon did.

What or whom did was responsible for the shattered moon? This was question on everyone aboard storm border's mind. The people of Remnant had accepted it as a part of their lives, but not them.

Truth had been displeasing, Brother Gods, creaters of this world but also its destroyers.

They might have created humanity, but that didn't mean they had the right to slaughter them.

At least they won't be returning ever again, Arcueid Brunestud, Archetype-Earth and Kiana Kaslana, Herrscher of Finality (from Honkai impact 3rd) made sure of that.

Shirou's thoughts were interrupted, as arrived at the home.

"I'm home," Shirou announced habitually, his voice echoing through the corridors. The lights flickered on automatically, illuminating the path to the living room.

He moved to the bed room, the soft carpet under his feet muffling his steps. He glanced at the clock. It was well past midnight, and yet sleep eluded him.

He won't be sleeping anytime soon, anyways.

Shirou pushed the door to the bedroom open with a soft creak, the warm light spilling in from the hallway.

The room was neatly organized, with a large bed dominating the space.
