RULES: Battles
Battles are the main function of Slut Wars. They are used to compete with other players in order to gain more cards and status.
<DM1> To initiate a battle, go to the "proximity" tab and select an available player. A request will be sent to the other player. A request will be available for thirty seconds before timing out. Once the other player has accepted, they will be prompted to select ownership cards as the bet. Once both players agree on the cards each other are offering, the battle will begin.
<B1> Your deck will consist of sixteen battle cards.
<B2> All battle cards follow a specific format. They include the name of the card, the cards energy cost, the cards health, the cards damage, and any special abilities the card has.
<B3> When a battle has started, each players deck will be automatically shuffled. Each player will be dealt the top four cards from their deck. When a card is played, a new card will be drawn from the deck.
<B4> The person who accepted will go first while the person that issued the request will go second.
<B5> Once it is your turn, you can play as many cards as you have the energy for. Each player starts with five energy and has a maximum of ten. After the end of a players turn, they will gain an additional two energy. In order to play a card, a player must have energy that is equal to or greater than the energy cost of the card. For example, a player can play a card that has an energy cost of three when they have three energy, but can not if they only have two energy.
<B6> Each player will start with ten health but can gain more from certain cards. Health does not naturally generate.
<B7> Once a card is cast, it will not be able to be used until the casting player ends their turn.
<B8> Once a card had been cast and is no longer in play, that card will be placed on the bottom of the deck.
<B9> Cards that are able to be used may perform attacks. If your opponent has no cards in play, your cards are eligible to directly attack the other players. If the opposing player does have cards in play then you must defeat those cards before attacking the player.
<B10> When a players health becomes less than one, the battle is over. The player that still has health is the winner. The winner will get all the cards from the bet plus a randomly generated ownership card with the username of the person defeated.
<B11> When a card attacks another card, the opposing cards health is decreased by the amount of damage the attacking card deals. The attacking cards health is decreased by the amount of damage the opposing card deals. If both cards deal enough damage to destroy the other, then both will be destroyed. When a card is defeated, it will move to the bottom of the deck per rule <B8>. A card may only attack once per turn unless specified otherwise.
