Chapter 26 by MightyViking MightyViking

What's next?

RO Day 5 - Stakes

You wake up relaxed... until you roll over and look at the other bed. Olivia's still sleeping, but her sheets have slipped off. All she has on are her panties. You are barely awake, but already getting hard. It's just unfair how sexy she is. You cannot function like this. You slip out of bed and get in the shower. The moment the water is on you are sliding your fist up and down your fully-hard shaft. In seconds, with Oliva's perfect body in your mind, shoot all over the glass wall of the shower. Feeling better, you clean up the mess and go back out to find her awake and stretching as she yawns.

"Good morning," she says with no idea how beautiful she is. It sounds like the other girls are getting up too. You both get dressed.

At breakfast, everyone quiets down at the coaches gather at the front of the room. Everyone stops eating and talking to listen. Something is going on.

Michelle steps forward, apparently the spokesperson.

"So, announcement time. Everyone listening?" she asks.

"Yes," everyone says together.

"OK. Remember how you have all been gossiping about a new league? And how that's our fault, kind of?" She gestures at the other coaches.

"Yes," everyone says.

"About that. There's no new league," she says.

The room explodes with shock and from some girls, outrage.

"What?" You can't believe it. It's all anyone could talk about yesterday...

"Shut up and listen," Michelle says impatiently. "It's not a league. It's a TV show."

She has to wait again while you all freak out.

"But! But! It's not getting produced yet," she goes on. "Seriously, guys. Let me finish. The producers are here to do a trial run. Your coaches and supervising coaches all have the contract, and you will get your chance to look at it and make your decision."

You want to laugh... like anyone is going to NOT want to be on a TV show about soccer. Everyone will sign.

"For this show, we are going to do a scaled down league, which means teams. But it's a show, not a league. That means these people want to see drama. They want rivalries and things like that. You're sorted into teams, and you *stay* with your team. Your team is like your family," Michelle says.

Wait a minute. What are the teams? Who is on which team? You and lots of the other girls start demanding to know, but Michelle shushes everyone.

"We'll post them in a minute. And I know! I know there's romance here at this camp where we are supposed to be concentrating on training," she says, kind of irritatingly. "So this is how it works. On Mondays you train. On Tuesdays, you have a half-day of training and a practice match. On Wednesdays, you do strategy and light training. On Thursdays, a half-day of training and match prep. On Friday, you have a real match against another team. There will be six teams. Three matches. The winning teams get to spend the weekend here at the lodge. The losers have to stay at camp. What happens at the lodge stays at the lodge. This is the only place where you can mingle with other teams. So if you want to mingle, you have to win. If you don't care about mingling and you just care about soccer, you still have to win, because only winners get interviews. That's how this is going to work."

Whoa. That's a lot. But wait... there are a lot of girls at camp, but not enough for six teams.

"Are these just very small teams, then?" Beth pipes up.

"No. Full teams. More girls arrive tomorrow, and a few of the girls from the Swim Camp are going to come up and join. We..." she says, pointing at herself and the other coaches. "Are your subs if there are injuries. Yes, we know there are some girls here who don't have to sit down to pee. Those girls don't have to hide that. No secrets. Any other questions?"

Wow! You can shower with everyone else now? And share a changing room? And yes, there are lots of questions, but you just want to know what team you are on... but you don't get to see that until after you sign a contract, and none of the coaches will let anyone sign a contract that they have not read yet.

Going over the contracts takes most of the morning. You finally get yours signed, and are handed a sheet with the teams on it. You are officially a contestant in the pilot shoot for Football Ultimate Television Association, or FUTA for short.

You check out your team.

PINK TEAM:

  1. Riley (USA) Captain, Striker COACH: Tiff
  2. ATT Aki (JAP)
  3. ATT Lara (UK)
  4. MID Sun (KOR)
  5. MID Sam (UK)
  6. MID Elena (KEN)
  7. DEF Rebecca (USA)
  8. DEF Sheva (SEN)
  9. DEF Lili (MON)
  10. DEF Max (USA)
  11. GOAL Viti (IND)

You did not see this coming, but the excitement is infectious, and you are freaking out like everyone else is. A TV show? What is that going to be like?

Some of your teammates are already here at camp. Lara, Viti, Aki, and Sun. Lara and Sun come and find you right away, but you want to see what team Olivia is on. You check the list.

RED TEAM:

Chun (CHI) Captain, Striker - COACH: Aran

ATT Sherry (USA)

ATT Olivia (MEX)

MID Jack (USA)

MID Kelly (USA)

MID Sakura (JAP)

DEF Claire (USA)

DEF Ling (CHI)

DEF Tali (RUS)

DEF Lotte (NET)

GOAL Edi (UNK)

You wish she could've been on your team... but it looks like Olivia is in good hands. You have heard of that Chun girl. She is an international superstar. Adella might be the top player at camp, but it's not like she's the top player in the world.

"We have to watch this one," Lara is saying, pointing at the Red Team on the sheet of paper. "I think Adella's team is still more stacked. Most of these others aren't that amazing, but Chun can carry them."

"Yeah," you say distractedly. "Can you give me a second?"

You find Olivia finishing a phone call by the fireplace.

"Oh God," she says as you approach.

"Exciting, right?" you say.

"Now I understand what we found in the computer," Olivia says, sighing. She looks suspicious. "There is something strange about it, though."

"Is there? So, do you want to celebrate?"

"What?"

"I don't know. We could get dinner," you suggest.

Olivia stares at you. She shakes her head in disbelief.

"You just signed a big contract. You are a captain. This is all so weird and you just want to get your rocks off?" she asks you.

"I want to go on a date with you," you clarify. Yes, you do want to get laid, but that's like a... secondary objective. You just want to spend time with her.

"Oh my God." She puts her face in her palm. "This is so unfair to your team."

"What?" you say, indignant.

"You need to be a captain. Not a horny animal."

"I can't be both?" you ask, indignant. You ARE both. You are a horny animal. You are also the captain. It can work.

"You are a dumbass," she says.

"Yes," you agree. "Dinner at eight?"

She throws her hands up in the air. "No. I told you. I don't date girls."

You make a thoughtful face, remembering the last couple nights... she sees you and groans.

"OK, I am maybe one percent gay," she says, gesturing to show a tiny amount.

"So you're saying there's a chance," you say.

"Fine. If you can be a good captain, I will go on a date with you," Olivia says, rolling her eyes.

"I'll be a great captain."

"Win both your games this week. The practice game and the one on Friday."

"No problem," you say. "Easy. Are you sure you want me winning? What if we play against you?"

"I can handle you," Olivia says. "And if you lose, you do something for me."

"Deal," you say, and hold out your hand to it. She shakes hands with you, looking exasperated.

You watch her walk away. A bet, huh? Well... lots of romantic comedies start with bets. That makes bets romantic. This is going well. Right?

Winning two games? You can do that. Easy. You better find your team.
