Quite well, but it ends all too soon.

The final dance was underway, and the group was together, Jaune in the center of them as they danced energetically. Ruby was managing to keep on her feet without tripping now, but Jaune still heard her telling Yang she was burning those heels. He got a chuckle out of it when Yang agreed to share the fire she'd be subjecting her current dress to when she did as soon as this night was over.

Penny had managed to slip into the group as well, giving Jaune a cheerful wave, getting Jaune to grin like a fool. Most of his harem was here with him, the most central members prominent among them, enjoying this special night. He knew he'd look back on this night fondly for the rest of his life. He wished it never had to end.

"Shame last night had to end..." Jaune groaned as he and Ruby rode up the elevator to face the music of last night's events.

"Eh heh..." Ruby chuckled nervously. "How much trouble do you think we're in for?"

"Big trouble... Ozpin's going to be watching me at least a little closer now for sure..." Jaune replied.

The doors opened, and they entered Ozpin's office, where he, Ironwood, and Goodwitch were waiting. What followed was a series of questions about the events of the night. "We're not sure who it was," Jaune finished off. "She was wearing a mask and it was dark..."

"I see," Ozpin sighed. "Unfortunately, the security footage revealed just as little, and much of it seems to have been sabotaged..."

Glyda of course berated them for being reckless, but surprisingly, the stern looking Ironwood actually praised them for taking action. Shortly before they were dismissed, Ruby had an idea, and revealed the location their investigation into Roman and the White Fang's activities had revealed, claiming to have heard the woman speaking about it on her scroll.

"I see. Thank you for bringing this to our attention Ms. Rose. I do believe that's all. You two may go," Ozpin told them. Mentally sighing in relief, Jaune and Ruby turned to head out. "Oh, actually, Mr. Arc, if I may ask..." Ozpin suddenly said, as if it were an afterthought, causing Jaune to freeze, worried about whatever else Ozpin might ask. "I'm curious... Have you had any luck with unlocking your Semblance yet?"

"Uh, no..." Jaune answered, looking back as he wondered where that question had come from. "Why do you ask?"

"I see," Ozpin nodded. "My apologies, I was merely inquiring on your progress in gaining one of a Huntsman's most important tools..."

Jaune repressed a shudder. Why did Ozpin look as if he had some idea confirmed? He was going to have to up the caution again... With that, he and Ruby left.
