Quite the Mystery

The three Haven-dressed people stand before them.

One, a girl with black hair and piercing golden-yellow eyes, seemed completely disinterested in them. But the other two..

"Oop. Sorry. Excuse us." The other girl said. A darker skinned girl with green hair, and a sweet smile.

"Oh no. It's our fault. Should've been watching where we were going" Jaune said. Blake looked to him and saw a familiar look in his eye. He had just picked out new targets in these two women.

"Heh. Well, glad you accepted that." The third member said, a young man with a rather cold demeanor. He smirked at them, clearly not interested in dealing with them.

"Mercury!" The green haired one scolded. Mercury threw up his hands in surrender

"Oh fine... We're sorry too man. There. Happy Em?" He grunted as he walked by, the dark haired girl following behind.

"Ehehe... Sorry about them..." The girl said somewhat shyly, before extending her hand "Name's Emerald" she introduced. Jaune also extended his hand.

"Jaune Arc. This is Blake." he replied. Emerald smiled.

"Good meeting you-- hey! Wait up!" She protested as she rushed after her friends "Uh... Sorry about that!" She said as she stopped briefly, before continuing to rush off.

"That was... Strange" Jaune said. Blake, however, didn't comment. Instead slapping Jaune.

"Ow! Hey!"

Blake crossed her arms and looked at him.

"Can you please, just once, look at a woman and NOT think about fucking her?" She scolded... But in a jovial manner. She was joking. At least partially.

Jaune smiled - his heart feeling warmer.

"Glad her mood is improving, at least" he thought to himself... Before immediately getting distracted again "but I didn't get the Goth looking girl's name... And only Emeralds first name. Dammit!"

He and Blake continued walking. He figured he would have more opportunities with Emerald in the future, at least.
