Krissy sat in the principal's office as he rested his hands on her shoulders and considered what he had just said. If there was anyone who could help her with school, it was the principal. She felt a glimmer of hope at his words.

"Principal Howard, please. I know I haven't been a good student, but if you could help me, I would appreciate it so much."
