Quick note from the author

First, I have managed to burn through my backlog again, so I am going to be going down to one chapter a day for the next week or so until I can get ahead of things again. This is just a temporary measure; I had to do a ton of behind the scenes work (including a complete re-design of my character sheet spreadsheet and rolling up a bunch of characters and creatures, plus actually writing up Aidan's talent tree and so on) and that took time away from actually writing. Once I'm caught up again, I will resume posting two updates a day, usually at around noon and midnight US Eastern time.

Second, I have decided to create a Patreon page, which you can find here. I do not know what to expect, but when I first started this story I did not expect even a fraction of the positive response I have received, so I'm giving it a shot. If you are not willing or able to become a Patron, that is 100% fine. I am not at risk of starving or anything, I just want to see if there's interest in more. If the Patreon actually takes off, I will do some extra work like writing more side chapters and what-ifs (free for all here on CHYOA) and potentially commission art of major characters. But again, this is a zero pressure sales pitch; if you like this story enough and can afford to shoot a little money my way every month, great! If not, still great! Just keep liking and commenting here, I read every comment (though comments on older chapters may take me a little longer to notice).
