Who does Yang challenge?

Pyrrha

Yang knew there was only one real option. If she wanted to put her new weapons to the test, she had to aim high.

"I challenge Pyrrha," Yang said, pointing a finger across the room towards her friend.

Pyrrha wasn't at all surprised by this. She had been challenged more times than any other student in her class. Just people trying to see if she was as invincible as the rumors claimed. She didn't mind, though. It kept her skills from getting rusty, after all.

"I accept," Pyrrha said, standing and walking down the stairs leading to the arena.

"Very well," Goodwitch said, tapping on her tablet again and bringing Pyrrha's information up as well. "We have our two competitors. Grab your weapons and prepare for the match."

"Make sure you get this on camera," Yang whispered to Ruby. Ruby nodded and fished her scroll out and opened the camera. If there was one thing Ruby appreciated more than anything, it was a good weapons demonstration.

Yang then turned and quickly descended the stairs two at a time, eager to get this show on the road. The two combatants reached the arena and walked through the door leading to the attached locker room, where all of the students' weapons were stored when not in use during the school day.

"You seem excited," Pyrrha noted as she opened her locker, grabbing her weapons Miló and Akoúo̱. "Have something interesting planned?"

"Oh, you'll just have to wait and see," Yang commented, grinning like a maniac. She so badly wanted to tell Pyrrha what was in store, but she ultimately refrained. It would be so much more satisfying to see her face when the huge blasts of fire came shooting out at her. "Although...I think you're gonna be in for quite the surprise..."

"I look forward to it," Pyrrha smiled, turning to walk back to the arena.

Yang donned her signature gauntlets, Ember Celica, giving them a few test punches to make sure the weight still felt right. As she suspected, they were perfect. Yang followed Pyrrha out of the room, feeling like a child on Christmas morning.

How does the fight go?
