Put to bed

Wendy looked at Olivia as she fell asleep, sucking her thumb for comfort. She smiled as she sighed and carefully lifted Olivia up and carried her up the stairs. She laid her down in her bed and tucked her in, giving her a stuffed bear for comfort. The bear was ragged and clearly old, so Wendy deduced that it was her childhood bear.

Wendy smiled as she shut the lights off, and then climbed in next to Olivia but not before changing into her nightwear. She wrapped her arms around Olivia, holding her as they fell asleep together.
