Put them on Nancy

“For fuck’s sake, I still have lines from last night,” Nancy says with an eye roll as she lifts her arms in the air. You tie a snug harness on her chest that crosses between her breasts. Her chest was already noticeable, but now it’s so erotic that worry the con might not like it. You finish, and she looks down at herself. “I’m used to being a slut for attention, but this is ridiculous.”

“It’s for the team,” Athena assures her. “You look beautiful.”

Nancy snorts and gives you a look. “You’re making this up to me later, Pledge.”

“OK,” you agree readily as Nancy takes a few souvenir selfies in her harness.

The con begins.

The convention hall is big, with terrible acoustics. It quickly gets loud as it fills up.

You are relieved with the outcome. First, nobody complains about Nancy’s little costume addition. Most of the attendees are guys, after all. CCL’s booth is by no means a top destination at this con. You’re aware of some booths, panels, and reveals that are the real main draws. Actually, there’s one of those that you’re supposed to attend with Colby.

But your booth still gets traffic. Your position is not great; you’re kind of tucked away in the corner, but people strolling the aisles still come by and this booth is odd enough that they all stop to look.

One thing that you didn’t count on was that a Spider-Man mask for extended periods of time is not super comfortable, but you can live with it. It also means there’s no way that photos of you at this booth will make their way back to your family, so you consider that a win.

The T-Shirts are not selling well. It’s still early, but you can tell. You’re asking too much for them, but they’re expensive to have made in small quantities.

“This isn’t good,” Athena says, coming to the same conclusion that you have. “We have too many shirts.”

“No, it’s fine,” you assure her.

“Should we lower the price?” Yuki wonders.

“No. Whatever we don’t sell here, we can sell on our website,” you tell them. “People will still pay the full price. It’ll take longer, but it’ll work.”

“We have a website?” Nancy asks.

CCL does have one. It’s not great. Maybe you can help Athena with an update. A merch store would be one of the easiest ways to generate a little income for the sorority.

While the T-shirts are not selling, your photo book is gone before a half hour has passed. First, you didn’t set the price high enough. Second, you underestimated the horniness of the people who attend this thing. It’s not even a guy thing. You sold quite a few of them to blushing women.

You save the last one from being sold.

“Why’d you do that?” Athena asks after seeing you pull it back.

“Because we can print more,” you say, taking a piece of paper and writing a sign by hand. SEXY PHOTO BOOK SOLD OUT, MORE ON OUR WEBSITE, CHECK BACK. “We need this one so people can look at it and get thirsty for it. That way they remember to buy one online later.”

Most people will not remember, but some will.

Athena looks impressed by your business acumen, but this is just basic con sales stuff.

Meanwhile, the photo business is going steadily. It’s no surprise that everyone wants to be photographed with girl Spider-Man in a CCL shirt and incredibly sexy breast goddess Nancy. Your fingers hurt from throwing up V symbols, and you keep smiling even though you’re wearing a mask. It’s fun!

“I didn’t think it was going to go this well,” Athena admits you to around 10 AM.

“You’re doing great,” you tell her.

She gives you a look. “Thanks, Meri. I think we owe it to you. It’s time for your break, by the way.” You have scheduled slots for everyone to get away from the table to catch their breath. Now it’s your turn.

OK. You hold her gaze for a moment. She is so beautiful. But you’re wearing a mask; she can’t see the way you’re looking at her.

Her expression turns quizzical. “You OK, Meri? Getting hot in there?”

“I’m good,” you say, stepping back. OK. Break time.

It is warm in here, but that’s normal at cons. Being gross is part of the charm.

“Have fun,” Yuki says, giving you a wave as you walk away from the booth. The day is already a success. This is a win. Now… what to do with your break?

You could bring back some cold drinks and snacks for the girls. They would definitely appreciate that, and it would earn you major points with Athena.

Or you could go and find a replacement gift for Colby, because you opened that game last night. You can’t give it to her when it’s already been used.
