Chapter 10 by Shibbar Shibbar

Nora walked into a room of rubble...

Rubble

The room Nora found herself in was strange. It seemed like some kind of reststop or lookout, a room built, or after inspecting it more closely, carved, in the middle of a natural cavern intersection. Rubble from the stone ceiling littered the floor, but other then that there was not much to speak about, aside from a few interesting architecural designs in the walls.

A slight orange-red fog hung low against the ground, seemingly seeping in from caverns ahead. It swirled with spirals whenever Nora took a step. It did not smell, but curiously it clung to Nora's tongue whenever she opened her mouth, and it clearly and vibrantly tasted of Iron. It didn't seem harmful, at least as far as she's was aware, but in no way did she trust it. The fog seemed to roll around the room before disappearing into a couple two-inch wide holes scattered around. They seemed very deep, and Nora could see nothing down them.{if mask on = true}

The gas mask sits tightly against Nora's face. If the fog is dangerous in higher concentrations then it's good that Nora took steps to mitigate it.{endif}

To the East is a rock tunnel. The fog is pouring from the tunnel in waves! Though not fast enough to fill it completely, it is clearly the cause of the majority of the fog in the room.

To the South is a rock tunnel with water carved steps. The fog doesn't seem to be coming from that direction.

To the West is a rock tunnel. Aside from the fact some fog is pouring in from that direction, it seems quite unassuming.

What's next?
