Put it off, and take a shower:

You rest your hand on the door for a moment, trying to work up the courage to go back outside and do what your mother had asked. You just can’t bring yourself to do it. Turning back to the laundry room you decide you could at least wash the maid outfit and your sheets, and take a shower, hoping that it will give you enough time to work up the courage.

The maid outfit drops in next to the outfit from Deepoles, you go up and grab the sheets and head back down stairs, toss them in. Start the wash and head for the shower. As the warm water rolls over your smooth skin you slowly sit down, just letting the white noise fill your head, and trying not to think about everything that has happened to you.

It doesn’t take long for the water to run cold, the downside of showering while the washing machine was going. With a sigh, you lather up and resign yourself to cleaning up without any warmth.

Done with the shower you dry off and wrap yourself in a towel, you know it isn’t needed since you’re alone, but at the moment it feels like some kind of dignity at least. You go downstairs, move the laundry to the dryer and head back to your room, thinking it would be nice to dress as a guy for at least a moment.

When you open your closet what you find doesn’t exactly surprise you, it just annoys the hell out of you. All of your guy clothes are gone. Instead, sitting in the middle of the closet are two bags labeled “Mona’s Donations.” Your mom must have cleared them out sometime before you got home.

With a heavy sigh you open the bags, unpacking and hanging a few things up as you search for something to wear that wasn’t too girly. After some searching and trying on a few pairs of too small jeans you give up and flop onto your bed, scrolling through job listings as you wait for the drying machine to finish.

When it finally dings you go back down stairs, pulling out the different outfits you hold the clothes from Charlie in one hand, and the maid outfit in the other.
