Put her to work, Tom needs some time to get to know his new wife

"Well the kids aren't going to be home for another three hours, but there's a lot to do." Diana said, going into full strategy mode. "Au pair, I need you to go to the former apartment of Sophia Kahn. It's under my name now, but if anyone asks you where you live tell them we're renting that place out to you. In reality I need you to pick up all the clothes Dr. Kahn bought for her body and put them in my new room, or I guess, our old room now."

Diana actually giggled at that last part and gave Tom an apologetic look.

"Hey I'm still figuring out the right pronouns too." He said.

She gave him a peck on the cheek and turned back to the au pair who was still eagerly waiting on the couch.

"After you finish moving my clothes, please take all of clothes that belonged to old Diana and move them to the guest-room. You'll stay there for now. Then you can have some free time to do anything you want, if you even have your own desires, until pickup, when you will pick up Jessica and Michael from their school. My husband and I are going to celebrate this evening, and will be spending the night out together. That means you'll take care of the children for the rest of the evening. Is that understood?" Diana said.

"Oh thank you Mrs. Miller! That's better than anything I could have asked for! I can't wait to meet your kids. I have lots of memories of them, and I promise my cooking skills are far superior to what I was able to do before you gave me my new identity. I can't wait to help them with homework and cook a nutritious meal for them while you and your husband have a great night out!" The middle-aged woman said with more glee than Tom had ever heard from her when she was the old Diana.

Tom waited as the two of them quickly sorted out their new belongings. They seemed to instinctively know things like that Dr. Kahn's car was now Diana's while Diana's old station wagon was the new au pair's. That sort of made sense. At least Tom understood why the au pair gladly handed over Diana's marriage and engagement rings.

When they were finally done Diana grasped Tom's hand and beamed a warm smile at him as she leaned against him. She motioned to their au pair and the three walked out of the office.

The waiting-room was empty. Camilla had canceled all of the new Diana's appointments for the day, and was idly playing on her phone. Tom was ready to get started on his big night out with his new wife, but Diana got a devious smile on her face, as she turned to her receptionist.

"Camilla, my husband and I are leaving for the evening, but before we leave, have you met this lovely woman before?" Diana said barely hiding the glee in her voice as she motioned to the old version of herself.

"No." Camilla said, her voice flat as she put down her game and started packing up her things.

"What's her name?" Diana said.

"She's your au pair." Camilla said. "Really Doctor Miller, I don't know what kind of work you're doing today, but I feel like someone's playing a joke on me."

"No one's playing any jokes. My husband and I are just spending time renewing our relationship. I guess that's making me frisky. Although..." Diana said.
