Put away box of Christmas lights.

As he chewed away at his at spoonful of cereal, Jack lifted the bowl up and downed the rest of the milk flavored cereal. Looking around the kitchen he ponder on what he was going to do. His eyes landed on a box full of lights, that he had taken down from Christmas, sat next to the door leading out back. Shrugging, he placed his empty bowl in the sink and ran some water to rinse it out. Walking over to the box he leaned down and picked it up. Turning around he began to walk back towards his bedroom. Passing by it, he stopped just before his daughters room and temporary placed the box down. Reaching up he pulled down a string that hung from the door leading up to the attic.

The attic door swung down and using the other hand he grasped the folded ladder and unfolded it. After making sure the ladder was set, he grasped the box and began to climb up into the attic. Once up in the attic, he reached over and flipped the switch lighting up the sole bulb that hung loosely in the middle of the room. Walking along the small pathway leading away from the entrance, he walked past the hanging bulb over to a spot next to the small window. Squatting down, he placed the box down and stood back up. Turning around he began to walk back to the exit when his foot snagged a loose board. Stumbling he turned around and stared at the displaced board.

Leaning down on a knee next to the board, he pulled at the board and it lifted out of the spot it was supposed to be nailed into. Studying the short board, he took noticed it lacked any nails or holes for nails. He was perplexed by the unusual board and looking down he noticed a little compartment area where the board was. Reaching inside he felt around the compartment.
