The Last bet.
Pushing the limits.
Tom decided to test the bets with the idea he got from messaging Mary and Fiona “Alright I got a great idea for a bet.
I bet that the everyone nominate a girl and the winner gets to decide what they wear to my birthday party on Saturday.” As Tom was speaking he had the feeling that this was the right way, and there was no way to loss this bet.
“ok, I will ask Jill to let the winner choose” replied Matt
“I am in, I will ask Mary”
“For me Fiona, of course.” Replied the Boyfriends
“Obviously Tina for me’ joined in Phil “but who will you nominate Tom”
“I hope its Mrs Jones” piped in Matt
“bullshit, its obviously Lisa” replied Matt, Peter agreed.
“Why not both” pushed Dennis
Tom thought for a second and had a feeling he could push the bet a bit further
“Ok, both.
However you all need to up the stakes as well.
Phil will need to ask Mrs Willis (his mum) to pay the bet as well as she is coming to the party anyway.”
Tom still feeling the effects of a sure win added
“Matt will have to ask Jill’s best friend Kate.” Kate is also bookish, not as curvy as Jill and has a bubbly personality. She will also be at Tom’s party.
Tom thought for a second then remembered Mary had an older Sister. “Peter will need to ask Mary about her older sister and Dennis tomorrow you will need to ask Miss Shelley to let me choose her outfit on Friday”
Tom was slightly annoyed at Dennis for pushing the bet a bit and for some reason he has always had a feeling of wanting to bring Dennis down a peg or two. That is why he thought of Miss Shelley. Miss Shelley is the hottest teacher (maths) at their school. If he wins and Dennis asks Miss Shelley and she refuses it will embarrass Dennis and if he wins he gets to dress up the hottest teacher at school for a day.
Win, Win for Tom. Tom still has the winning feeling that he had in the first bet, but now he is feeling a slight strain. A strain that if he pushes more the whole bet collapses and there will be consequences.
It was Dennis’ turn to deal. As everyone was ‘All In’ so to speak Dennis dealt everyone’s cards face up.
Tom got jack and nine of diamonds.
Peter got jack of clubs and seven of hearts,
Phil, Pocket queens hearts and clubs
Matt, queen of diamonds and king of clubs
Dennis lastly dealt himself pocket aces of diamonds and clubs
Dennis dealt the flop, the Jack of Spades, The eight of diamonds, and the seven of diamonds.
Peter jumped to the lead with two pair from Dennis pocket aces and Tom had opened up an inside straight.
Dennis dealt the turn and yelled “hell yeah” it was the ace of spades. He had jumped to the lead with three of a kind. “I cant wait to dress up the girls. Tom I think maybe Lisa should wear a thong bikini”
“Just deal the river Dennis, you haven’t won yet. I only need another diamond or a ten to win, and Peter can still get a full house.”
Dennis dealt the final card to add suspense, he dealt it face down. Everyone watched as he flipped the card over. “fuck’ exclaimed Dennis. Ten of diamonds. Not only had Tom got the flush but a straight flush.
Tom couldn’t help but smile.
“must be birthday luck” guessed Matt
Tom still felt a tiny bit of what he feels is bet energy and he doesn’t know if it only applies to poker yet. He has one final test for the night feeling annoyed at Dennis for the comment about his sister. “Dennis since you want Lisa in a thong Bikini how about just a side bet with me and you. Highest card wins. I bet Lisa in a thong Bikini against your mum in one at my choosing”
Dennis quickly replied “Your on!”
Tom Split the remaining deck and flipped over the 3 of clubs.
Dennis started laughing reached forward and flipped the 2 of spades and suddenly choked up.
“alright enough of this, lets get back to betting for pennies” Tom exclaimed
The others agreed and they started to play normal poker again and turned on the basketball game for the background.
