Punish her

"I'm sorry Lord Richard... but even if she is your adopted daughter as your future king I cannot let her speak out against me twice without punishment... you understand of course...?"

Lord Richard looks at you with contempt. You know he likes to handle his trouble in house... but knows he can't refuse you. "I cannot say that I am happy about that..." he growls, "But I understand she overstepped her bounds...." he turns around to show her his disapproval "She is all yours.... Take her and do as you will..."

You look over to Kathryn and despite her best efforts she can't help but show her excitement at Margaret's demise.

"Father please!!!" Margaret cries out as she runs over to Lord Richard and tries to embrace him. He instantly shoves her to the ground but she crawls over to his feet, "Father.... Father what do you mean that I am... his... please tell me it isn't so..."

Lord Richard kicks her away "I am not your father you spoiled little wench... I may not like it and I may not approve of it... but he warned you at dinner and you still spoke against him, so now and forever you are his to do with."

Trembling, Margaret sobs, "What... what does that mean?"

"You're his **** now you little ingrate.... call it justice for all the horrible things you've done to others... now never speak to me again."

You can see Kathryn almost laugh with excitement as Lord Richard tells her to never talk to her again. Lord Richard turns slightly to stare you down before escorting his wife back inside. "Come now Kathryn, lets us leave them to their business..."

As they walk off Kathryn looks over her shoulder at you and smiles before heading inside the castle.

You turn to Rachael and tell her, "Please see Margaret ahead... I need a moment to speak with Elizabeth..." Rachael nods and leads the distraught Margaret out of sight.... Allowing you to turn towards Elizabeth and ask her, "Are you ok with this... you know with Margaret...?"

She looks up at you and smiles "Actually, I'm really glad you did that..." Looking away with pain in her eyes she adds, "You know when we were younger she constantly beat me... then when I started getting more attention than her from suitors she started spreading rather nasty rumors around town about me...." Turning towards you she continues, "But I must say that was a rather bad political move for you.... No matter how much an evil bitch she is Richard still sees her ashis daughter... were all he has left of his beloved brother..."

I sigh and reply, "Well, I hope I can find a way to make it up to him... I will need him in the upcoming months...."
