In-Game Biography

"A wandering warrior in feudal Japan, the telepathic ninja known as Sai has devoted herself to striking down ancient demons and monsters. With her wolf Logan by her side, Psylocke won't rest until all Yokai have fallen by her psychic blade.

Sai was ripped from her reality by the Timestream Entanglement and put on display by the Collector. Alongside newfound allies, she escaped her cage and learned that other familiar warriors might still be out there. Her new quest is to gather those heroes, end this conflict, and return home."

This is not the Psylocke you know, neither Kwannon or Betty Braddock, this yokai hunter from the Edo period is Sai. Though, similar to other versions of Psylocke, Sai still has the same powers, using telepathy to read people's minds or make herself invisible to them and generate or enhance her weapons with psionic energy. Sai hunts after monsters and demons all across the countryside, with the aid of her mutant wolf, Logan. When the Timestream Entanglement occured, Sai was ripped from her home universe and dropped into the jumbled mess of connected universes, landing in the hands of the Collector alongside Mantis and Jeff the Landshark. The three broke free and made their way across the entangled universe in search of allies. Despite not being the Psylocke everyone knew, Sai was still welcomed in with open arms, even becoming an X-Man with her own room at Krakoa. She even got reunited with Logan, who had waited centuries to meet her once again.
