Chapter 51
by Suvinceus
An hour passes...
Psychosis's Fury
"This is it, Boppers, our heroes from Coney Island, Sea Gate and Times Square are ready to settle the score with their biggest enemies yet. In case you're wondering about what happened during the past hour, the Razors from Yorkville left Tremont with a bunch of cuts, and the Crescent Moons had given the Moonrunners a sound beating, even making sure that those cats in silver don't spread lies about Slattery and his group. Now, with that said, keep on shining."
The subway would stop it in tracks completely as it reached Hells Kitchen, and one by one, the Warriors, the Crescent Moons and the Gamers stepped out of it. The three gangs then stepped out into the streets, and as they did, several of the Rogues were watching them.
En route to the Rogues's hideout, Rembrandt discovered a tag made by the Rogues, and was able to lay a burner over it, before catching up with the rest of the Warriors. When all three gangs reached the hideout, Swan spoke up.
"Me and the rest of the Warriors will deal with these punks; their quest for clearing their name ends here." he said.
"Don't worry, the Gamers will serve as backup." Slattery replied.
Highscore and Pacman followed the Warriors's lead, and as they entered, they could hear voices coming from a distant room.
"So the Warlords got the chick, right?" one Rogue asked.
"Yeah, too bad those jerks won't be able to retrieve her; in fact, we could make her one of our newest wenches." another replied.
"But just so you know, I want the heads of those pussy Warriors's...and I want them now!" Psychosis told them.
"Who you callin' pussies, you fags?" Ajax asked as the Warriors stepped into the room.
"We are, you stupid Coney clowns." the Rogues's leader replied. "Not to mention, you guys were the reason Luther got kicked out because he was responsible for the **** of Cyrus." he added.
"When we got our name cleared, the Riffs started to trust us, they thought we were good, but to me, we were the best." Swan said.
"Well, guess what, pretty boy, the Rogues are gonna clear their name if that's what it takes!" Psychosis, before he whistled to his men. "Show these pricks what we're made of!"
Six of the Rogues went over to him, so that could even the ante with Swan and the rest of the Warriors. The first to fight were Ajax and Cochise, as they were too ecstastic to beat the Rogues up.
Despite the two Rogues's best efforts, the two Warriors had unleashed a series of punches and kicks to their opponents, with the short-haired muscle giving his opponent a strong headbutt, and the head-banded Warrior delivering an uppercut to his.
"Man, that was easy!" he exclaimed.
"Easy? Then try dodging these, you swine!" the third Rogue yelled, holding a revolver in his hand.
He then shot at Ajax and Cochise, but they were quick to dodge the bullets. Snow was able to take over for them, but the third Rogue fired another bullet, penetrating his right shoulder.
"Shit!" the afro-ed Warrior exclaimed as he clutched his shoulder.
The third Rogue was about to shoot at him again, this time, aiming for his chest, when Cowboy took him by surprise by punching him in the face, knocking him out cold. Cochise was able to use his headband as a bandage from Snow's wound, just like he did with Rembrandt's when they escaped from the Lizzies last month.
With three of Psychosis's men remaining, Swan went after the Rogues's leader, allowing Rembrandt and Vermin to take care of the fourth and fifth Rogues. The co-founder attacked the fourth Rogue by punching him in the torso and head, before putting him in a headlock and snapping his neck.
The writer and the fifth Rogue were sharing punches, and the Warrior kicked him in the face, and proceeded to spray him in the face. The last of the Rogues was now up against Cowboy, and he boldly picked up a half-empty bottle of beer, slamming it against his head.
"Hands off of him!" Swan said as he attacked the sixth and final Rogue by elbowing him in the stomach.
The last Rogue was about to pick up another bottle and hit him upside the head with it, when the hat-wearing Warrior gave him a kick to the back of his head, and gave him a stomp or two before leaving him on the floor, already defeated.
Psychosis clenched his teeth, and let out a war cry as he dashed towards Swan. He then punched him in the stomach, before slamming him to the floor.
However, Highscore and Pacman came in to make the save, with the shorter Gamer giving the Rogues's leader a few punches to the face. The taller Gamer would follow suit, doubleteaming his friend as he gave the Rogues's leader a headbutt.
With Psychosis and his men laid out, he managed to get up, albeit stumbling almost lightly. "You guys haven't seen the last of me yet...see you in Old Town!" he exclaimed.
And with that, the rest of the Rogues, laughed manically as they escaped the building, before one of them flipped the bird at the Warriors. "Old Town? That's where the Corporate Crooks are!" Pacman told Swan.
"Exactly, and it's about time they get what's coming to them; we need to get back to the Crescent Moons and bop on over to Ripper and his junkie friends." the Warriors's leader replied once he got back to his feet.
The Warriors and Gamers exited the Rogues's hideout, and caught up with Slattery and the Crescent Moons. The three gangs would travel to Old Town, to take down the Corporate Crooks once and for all.
In Old Town...
