How does the investigation go?

Progress Is Frustratingly Slow

Two beautiful women can go almost anywhere together. Circe had conjured clothes for both of them—the reporter's own clothes from earlier in the evening, the tight pants that now grabbed her pieced pussy lips, the white t-shirt that, without her bra, only outlined the new rings through her nipples, the red jacket which failed to hide all of her new tattoos and tanned skin.

The sorceress had chosen a complementary outfit. Tight green pants and heels, a lavender jacket the same color as her hair, with green striping down the sides. They could have passed as sisters...except Lois was the sluttier sister, the wild one, while Circe retained her poise and self-assuredness. That gave her a grace that made Lois feel like a stumbling yearling by comparison.

Together they walked the halls of the brothel. There was a staff lounge, a nurse's station...they spoke to prostitutes, security guards, customers. Lois had thought that the investigation would go swiftly, since any **** vanished with one glance in Circe's eyes.

Yet the hours after midnight ticked by, and despite the sorceress' magic, the two women found themselves no closer to their quarry than before. The missing women remained missing.

"Perhaps they have no connection to this brothel?" Circe suggested, voice tinged with impatience. "There are many ways for young women to disappear, after all."

Lois Lane chewed the inside of her cheeks. Her journalistic instincts told her there was something here. Something that didn't add up. Yet she had Circe here, and if the sorceress hadn't found anything then...

The reporter's eyes widened. What if we're not finding anything because Circe is here?

"Mistress...is there a chance that someone could use magic to...make us not see what's going on here? WIthout making us realize it?"

Circe's nostrils flared. "Such power and skill would rival my own, for me not to notice the manipulation..."

Her voice trailed off. Lois watched as the sorceress' pupils shrank to pinpricks...and the smile died from the older woman's lips.

"Oh, clever...how very clever you are Lois, to have noticed," the lips pulled back to show teeth. "There is something going on here."
