Ponder, what is it that makes a Super Heroine "super"? Some might say her ideals and what she stands for. Some might say the magnitude of her deeds. However, for most, that isn't what comes to mind. The first question one asks about any Super Heroine is "What is her Powers?"

Of course, there are Heroes and Heroines without any powers. Still, they're the except that proves the rule. The aspect, most essential, to anyone deemed "super" is that they have the super powers to match. Flight, Speed, Strength, Telekinesis, and more! What is more essential to a Super Heroine's identity then the extraordinary abilities that she wields? Some might deem it the essential anima, the "thing", which separates the super and the normal.

This is why Professor Powerless represents such a threat to you and your fellow heroines. He's a vengeful, devious scientist whose devoted his considerable intellect to the subject of Super-Powers and how to disable them. Other villains seek him out, hoping that he'll use his vast array of tech to short circuit or dampen the abilities of his foes. To this end, he's developed a line of tech (mostly wearables like collars and bracelets) which target different power sources and disable them.

The man's single-minded dedication to "punishing" the super-powered is unparalleled and is surely born from some tragic past. He'd devoted his intellect to studying the different sources of powers. Radiation, alien biology, genetic mutation, magical infusion, and many other means. When confronted, he espouses a belief in returning the world to the days before the superhuman age. To put the genie back into the bottle.

While his identity might still be a mystery to the superhuman community, despite a growing list of encounters, his animus against the powerful is not. If you, a being with super powers yourself, fell into his hands, he would strip you of everything that makes you special. So why would a defender of justice like yourself date him, submit to him, of your own volition?
