Professor Fowl

“Hello, girl.” Comes a low growl.

“Who’s there?”

Maddy takes a defensive stance.

“There’s no need for unpleasantness. I only wish to have you in my class, Madeline.”

“Who are you?”

“I’m Professor Fowl. I sense within you a great beast waiting to get out. I can give you great power. I can make you a Master of beasts, if you so desire, Madeline.”

Madeline loves animals. Indeed she thinks of herself as sort of a lesbo Snow White.

“So what happens if I decide to join your class? Do I turn into some kind of Doctor Doolittle?”

“Something like that. Only the animals here can be a bit…different. What say you?”

“Why not. Count me in.”

“Excellent.”

Despite being a large man, Professor Fowl fades into the shadows silently.

Maddy wonders what she has gotten herself into.
