Productive: A third meeting with Cindy South (and classroom sex featuring Daenerys Targaryen).

There were 16 sophomore students in the class, an even mix of male and female. All of them were watching the large flat screen TV that was currently showing a scene from Game of Thrones. Daenerys Targaryen was flat on a bed in the throws of ecstasy as a well hung Salladhor Saan dominated the Mother of Dragons body. It was a full hardcore scene that had never been broadcast, and indeed almost definitely didn’t even exist, beyond the borders of Shoubu University.

Some of the students were attentively taking notes, others merely had their eyes glued to the screen.

It had often occurred to you when writing your class plans that despite the high levels of sexual activity at Shoubu generally, bringing gratuitous sex into the classroom never failed to capture the attention.

The scene currently being shown was the last of many sex scenes you had watched with the class this afternoon. Some were from the original cinematic releases'; others were products of Shoubu’s strange somewhat unpredictable effect on Film and TV. At Shoubu, sex scenes in films had a tendency to be extended and considerably raunchier, to the point of showing actual penetration between actors that had never happened beyond the borders of the University.

Whether this represented a magical altering of the digital files or was a magical view into an alternative but actual reality was a matter of study, debate and research. So was what caused the phenomena in the first place.

You pause the scene and walk to the front of the class to get the students attention. Your shirt sleeves are rolled up and a half-finished cigarette hangs from your mouth, wisps of smoke drifting across the room. You had forgotten how tedious these classes could be. You glance at the clock. 14:50 “thank God.”

You address the class. “So, let’s review. Contrast between HBOs Emilia Clarke getting reamed in this Shoubu-additonal scene,” there were a couple of surprised chuckles from the students at you using ‘reamed’ rather than a formal term for sex, “and the stairs scene in ‘Gone with the Wind’ which was unaltered. And by the way there is currently no known recording of Viven Leigh having,” you throw a wry glance at the earlier sniggerers “intercourse in any Shoubu University version of any of her films. Why? Does it reflect the true intentions of the director? Perhaps the scenes in HBOs show were just there for the sexy and Shoubu magic will reflect that? Or perhaps it points to Shoubu’s magic inherently being attracted to sex? And that leads us to the alternative sexual worlds’ theory we discussed at the beginning of class. At this point in time there are multiple theories but I would point you in particular to the 2004 edition of ‘Sex in Film and Beyond Film; The collected debates and papers of Dr Paul Hinoc and Professor Claire Pannison’.”

At the back of the room, you see Cindy carefully opening the door and quietly and unnoticed sidling in to sit at the back of the class.

“Ok” you say wrapping up “I want a 1500-word paper for two weeks’ time, discussing these themes and what causes this phenomenon. And I’ll give you a reminder; that this is a film theory class about Shoubu magic. So, no technical cinematography answers, and secondly, it has been proved that the phenomenon is not based on the age of the film. Remember there is an exhibition of hardcore ‘Titians’ in the main hall of the Faculty Head Office Building that never existed in the outside world and they are from the 16th century.”

You put your cigarette out in your coffee mug “Ok, that’s it. Get out of here.” The class ends and the students file out, a few of them polite enough to thank you which you acknowledge with a casual nod.

When the last student leaves, Cindy makes sure that the door is closed, then approaches your desk.

“Hi” she says smiling. She is wearing a rather skimpy skirt and top and light peach leggings. In the light of day, she is still as hot as when she came on to you in the bar last night.

“Hi” you reply “So, have you made any progress with your side of things?”

“Yeah” she says “I mentioned you to Diana. Explained you, well Richard Hunting, needed somewhere to stay. Diana was happy to help. She put in a call with Grace. Grace is free to meet this evening to discuss you moving into the dorm.”

“Thanks. That’s a great job.”

“Well to be honest I think Diana was more worried about this stupid GAME I’ve got myself into. She was very sweet about it. Offered to help. She basically never loses GAMEs. At least not the important ones.”

“That’s good” you say. “You can use all the help you can get.” You are not sure why but you decide not to mention your encounter with Professor Cantu this morning, instead saying “those bastards from the bar are really gunning for you. Sam was hanging around my office. I wasn’t in so he gave me a call and a piece of his mind.”

“Oh my God.” said Cindy putting a hand to her mouth “That’s awful. I hope he isn’t going completely psycho; you know beyond trying to date **** me! I haven’t seen Mandy since last night, thank God.”

“Yeah, about that. I need you to take this letter of introduction for an enrollment in an extra-credits programme with senior technician Mr Brunnmann in the GAME Effects and Affects Department.”

You hand her a folded piece of paper which she opens and reads with a puzzled look “But my grades are fantastic. I don’t need any extra credits, and this is completely outside my Law course.”

“Yeah, I know, but I want you to lay low on that part of the campus for a few days while I figure out how to get Mandy off your back. Mr Bunnmann can put you up. For the time being only go back to your dorm house when really necessary.”

“The GAME Effects and Affects Department is pretty central and not even that far from Mandy’s sorority house” Cindy protested. “What makes you think she won’t find a way of getting to me there?”

“Well apart from the fact I doubt she’ll be sending Sam into University Department offices to pump you full of sperm; Mandy thinks Lucas Brennmann is going to **** you and then after he’s had his way with you as his ****, he’s going to pimp you out and Mandy will have an opportunity to buy you on the cheap.”

Cindy looks at you with an incredulous and horrified look on her face. “And why exactly would Mandy think something that specific?”

“Well, I ran into her before class and I kind of told her that that is what Lucas was going to do to you” you reply in an awkward tone. “Look if Mandy thinks the GAME is more or less over, she is going to get complacent. Spend less time actively trying to win. That takes the heat off you and gives us a chance to think about how to get some of the creamy stuff into her panties. That’s what this is all going to come down to right?”

“That makes sense I suppose” Cindy says. She puts a hand on her delicate chin, musing for a moment “But why would Mandy believe you after what you did to her?”

“Well in not so many words I gave her some evidence that Lucas is kind of a creep,” you reply.

“Oh really?” Cindy says with a raised eyebrow.

“Yeah. He is kind of a creep actually. Normally if a student was in this situation, I wouldn’t really trust Lucas to keep his dick in his pants but don’t worry, I called him an hour ago. I’ve told him you’re a client. He almost definitely won’t try anything. He owes me.”

“Being sent to a known pervert for protection based on him ‘almost definitely’ not taking advantage is not very reassuring when my fate as a sex-**** hangs on the balance of a single sperm” Cindy says looking less than impressed.

You breathe heavily and lay it out for her.

“Cindy, with all due respect but you basically blew all nine of your lives bumping into me last night, especially given that you caught me in the middle of a case. You are a fine piece of ass and I say that not as a compliment, but as a warning. From here on out, you have to assume that ninety percent of the men and I don’t know how many of the women in Shoubu would take some pretty big risks to own some sperm and get it inside of you to make you their sex-toy. And that’s not even counting the losers who just want a **** to do their shopping or whatever. I don’t care if it is your swimming coach, the high school friend who came with you to Shoubu or your BFF from cheerleader squad. Any one of them could look at you and think they want to be in a world where Cindy South is all theirs. So, trust me when I say at this stage ‘almost definitely’ is as good as it is going to get, and it ain’t going to get that good again.”

“Fine” she says shaking her head “Fuck! How did I get into this mess? OK so what next?”

“Well unless the plan is for you to remain celibate for the rest of the year...” you start “Hell no!” Cindy interjects emphatically “And definitely not on account of that blonde bitch.”

“Then we need to find a way to get Mandy to spread her legs” you say.

“Shouldn’t be too hard with that air-headed slut. She’ll probably get so horny she’ll self-destruct” Cindy snorts derisively.

“I agree. And I think I also know someone who might be able to give her hormones a shove in the right direction.”
