Bide your time...
Prisoner Proposition
...You bide your time and lightly bounce with each step of your Beedrill captor. Razz descends the steps of long and wide spiraling stairs, taking you deeper in the this hive dungeon by the shoulder. You attempt to tense up within your hardened honey cocoon in hopes anything may have loosened, but the sticky material was still just as cemented completely solid as before. You ponder why rope or chains wouldn't suffice, but garnering that this 'Queen' of theirs seems to eat travellers, perhaps the honey was just a condiment to go with her meal, like a candied treat. You shudder at the thought, but upon reaching the bottom of the stairs, Razz halts in place suddenly.
A deep, female voice calls out to him, "...Hold on there Razz. I seem to recall you were sent out to scout for a feral out in the wilds, no?" You strain your head to look in the direction that Razz was, but the figure comes into view plainly enough when approaching the Beedrill.
A tall and heftily wide Scolipede woman stops in front of Razz. The bug stallion stood on two hooflike legs that trace up to wide thighs and voluptuous hips, rounding a plump stomach with fat tits to match just above it, leering easily down at both you and the bee from her intimidating 7'2" height. Red-magenta exoskeleton covers the top of her head, neck, limbs, ass, with purple spikes hugging the pudgy and softer looking black hide of her front; from her belly to past her chest at the neck and jawline. It oddly looked smooth and soft compared to the glossy natural shelling of the Scolipede's back. She certainly had the poundage to her, but you certainly held muscle within it all too. One clasp between her mighty thighs, and your head would likely crack like an egg. You flick your ear nervously at the thought. Why did you think about that...?
Razz, however, did not seemed deterred by her presence like you are, answering her back like a chain of command, "Indeed I was with my party. But as it turns out, this one and a small troop managed to take the Aurorus down outside the hive grounds. I have detained him for now and will be sealing him within a cell, Warden Talia."
The Scolipede, known to you now as Talia and the 'warden', perks a brow as she gives you a better lookover now, leering her yellow eyes. "...Taken down you say? From this mere pooch? Though by the looks of it, he's a Lucario. It's been a hell of a season or few since I've even seen one." She reaches a hand, gripping your face up to squash up your cheeks awkwardly to your muzzle. You sputter an annoyed groan in response as you're examined. You didn't understand how the Scolipede could even size you up if you were locked in a cocoon, but it was more vexing that you had to be judged at all by this stranger. "The Queen is hungry however. Did you not think she would approve of delighting herself in a rare snack like this?"
Razz defends his actions, "The others a part of this Lucario were detained and are on their way to be prepped and served. Knowing our Highness' appetite, I am not keen on serving her a dessert like this with the rest of her food. I am more than happy to drop him off when she is ready for him; otherwise I find it safer if he is confined in a cell." The bee leers his red eyes back at her though despite the size difference. "If you are going to question my loyalty yet again, Warden Talia, I must disappoint you to admit that you only waste your time with such a cause, as well as mine. And wasting either of our time is a waste of the Queen's time. I have remained loyal to her since before the infection, and that will not change."
The Beedrill's clawed hand grips at your cocoon tighter that even you can feel them now. Razz finishes, "...I care not for your position nor your competitive nature to be the Queen's star pupil. I earned all of my roles under our Highness. You would be wise to earn yours or stay in your place. Do you want this prisoner to serve him up yourself to our Queen, or would you prefer I grace her with something to please her?"
Having her pride threatened, as well as a chance to appeal to their leader, the Scolipede scoffs in disapproval and strips her hand off from your face finally. "Bah! Throw him in the temporary confinement room, and I will fetch for him after I tell the Queen you withheld dessert from Her."
"Do as you see fit, Warden Talia." Razz politely states, even if it oddly sounded like a threat. You wince your ears at their expressions and tones with one another, sensing the in-fighting between these bug Pokemon before the Scolipede woman parses away from you both.
But Talia mentions aloud to catch Razz's antennae, "...I think I will also inform her that you were unable to deal with the Hive's largest threat, and instead left it with her food to play with one another and deal with it. You may have the legacy with Her, Razz, but you do not have the strength or courage to truly protect Her like I do." Apparently the Scolipede wanted the last word to save her own pride and attempt to wound Razz's.
Despite all the drama, Razz lugs you on his shoulder still with an annoyed buzz of his wings before arriving at a thick clay door guarded by a Leavanny woman and a chubby Wurmple girl; neither really struck you as the guard types though. The Leavanny was certainly tall with a bit of a coy expression on her face to receive a new recipient for imprisonment. Her arms were crossed as she had a more casual stature, leaning against the door frame with a hip. The Wurmple was lower in height than you especially if you were allowed to stand. She was portly for sure, much like that Talia woman from before. Red jagged armor decorates much of her back, head, and limbs, but soft cream-colored tits and tummy were left to freely hang forward. She was more likely to snack than fight from what you could assume. But she also seemed like the more role-appealing type as she straightens her posture and salutes to the bee carrying you.
The Wurmple announces during said salute, "Welcome back Marshal Razz, sir! I respect Warden Talia, but I know are always loyal to the Queen!"
"Yeah, seriously." The Leavanny adds in. "Did you shove some kind of stick up Talia's ass as of late, or have you two always had it out for each other?"
Despite the reassurance, Razz simply answers back with a demurred sigh, dissuading it. "I...appreciate the confidence but I do not require others to speak for my devotion. For Talia, I personally do not have anything against her, but our roles have always caused some...conflict with one another." The Beedrill explains to them.
You didn't want to be present for any of the 'workplace' talk as you mutter aloud, "...For people who want me completely quiet, none of you stop talking. Am I free to go, or is this part of the prison ****?"
Razz just gives a glare towards your head before getting back to business, "I will question this one for a bit and keep him stung for good measure. But I wouldn't advise opening the door to deal with him personally without Warden Talia's approval or presence. I've seen him fight. He is a crafty one. Do not take him so lightly and leave him to his fate, understand?"
"Yes sir, Marshal Razz!" They answer in unison. They open the hard clay door and allow your captor to carry you inside.
The room inside was a bit spacious, with thick clay, stone, and honeycomb walls. No one else was in the room with you, and you're casually dropped onto the floor with a thud. It hits the back of your head and you bark in pain while your body can only strain within the honey cocoon rather uselessly to defend the ache that now pulsates at your skull. You're left rattling on the ground a bit as the cocoon of hardened honey finds a moment to rest, with you now on your back technically staring up at the earthy ceiling with a towering Beedrill now above you.
His red eyes thinly leer at you with disdain. It would be simple to ignore if it weren't for the fact that this Beedrill could dispatch you whenever he wanted, even if you were meant to be some royal asshole's dessert. Razz lifts a black exoskeleton leg just to step down onto your candied containment, kneeling over a with an arm resting at his bent knee to really strain some extra pressure on your front. "That is for the unnecessary comment." He digs the digitless hind down which really pressures your ribcage from the honey casing having nowhere to go but to squeeze tighter against you.
He gives another brief buzz of annoyance before stepping off. You huff in response, hating the pressure that you could feel in your own chest cause of it, but you were thankful it was just off. "...Hhhf...what do I get for necessary comments?" You ask, really straining your luck now.
"An interesting question. Perhaps if you bark loud again in pain, you'll find out." Razz answers, flexing the bee abdomen behind him as it lifts suddenly before the stinger suddenly jams into your cocoon.
Out of reflex, you do yipe a bit, tightening up the muscles in your neck out of the sheer expectation of the sharp point to skewer into your body. You see the sharp point puncture through the hardened exterior where your softer hide is, right at the abdomen...but the tip doesn't reach your stomach. Instead, the bee motions forward, dragging the stinger and really carving it through, tracing up your figure to actually crush or cut at the hard material. The abdomen lifts up, leaving a crude gash up along the cocoon.
You glance at the bee in confusion, but he simply stands aside from you, almost expectant of something. He rests a hand on his bare hip and finally cuts the wordless silence, "...Are you going to attempt an escape, or do you wish to remain as my Queen's food?"
Shocked that he was allowing you to free yourself, you hesitate for a moment to wonder if this is some form of trick. But if it gives you a chance to fight back and get to Jackal and Gold sooner, you were going to take it.
Flexing your arms and legs, you jerk in whatever space you can find, rocking your cocoon from side to side on the ground. Cracks sound out thanks to the gash weakening the container, crumbling in portions now until you manage to loosen an arm enough to pry it right out. It makes it easier to tear away at the crumbled honey chunks around you, eventually freeing your entire figure as you roll onto your hands and knees with honey flakes now littering your fur.
Taking a cautious glance at Razz, he simply offers a hand to you. "You can handle yourself with giant ferals that can freeze you in place. I would hope a bit of honey isn't enough to tire you out."
This Beedrill did happen to free you, but his motives were unknown, if not completely hypocritical; therefore it was best for you to not trust him yet and you simply get yourself up to a stand, clenching your fists with some aura just in case. "...Looking to fight me or something? If your queen wants her food tenderized first, then I think you just made a grave mistake."
It was hard to necessarily see the bee smile with the kind of angular yellow head he has, but the amused noise he emits out sounds like a chuckle, if anything. "A fight with you? Could be entertaining, even if it would be an unfair duel on your end, hmhm...~" You didn't know if he meant you were still fatigued from the previous, or if he was just truly confident at besting you. "But I would not waste the time and effort on that. If anything, I am here to benefit both our time and efforts...that is, on the assumption you wish to survive and save your two companions, yes?"
You furl your brows. It was tempting to dispel the aura in your fists for the offer, but you question his motive all the same, "...You're the one who got us into this mess. You said you were loyal to your queen. You're her marshal if anything--what kind of trick is this?"
"Keep your voice down." Razz replies, taking a glance to the clay door he had brought you in there with a lift of his antennae, perhaps listening for the two guards at the doorway. He keeps a pause, but eventually turns his head back to you. "...A trick not intended for you, that I can say. If you wish to make it out of the hive alive, then I suggest you and I become friends very quickly. If you wish to rescue your two companions while there's still a brief amount of time, then all the same. You are going to have to trust me."
"Might be against my best interest still." You retort, but you lower your guard some now, waiting for an explanation.
"I have little reason to trust you either, Lucario. But if I am to get what I want, it requires your cooperation. Mind you, freeing you like this will be a **** sentence for me. Treason is one of the worst crimes one can commit to the royal Highness of this hive; let that stake show something for how **** I am to put my sudden faith in you. If I felt as though I had other options, I would happily take them. However. Beggars and choosers, and all that." Razz answers before taking another glance at the door, "I cannot dally in here. Not when Talia correctly suspects me. I'm sure you recall that beast of a Scolipede woman. She is the warden of this complex and has a strong reputation with the queen. Are you going to promise to assist me, or do I need to put you back in containment and try my luck with the next proper catch?"
You flick an ear at that. It was annoying that he'd assume you'd go along with it without him entirely explaining himself. It was sensical that he would be punished for what he was doing now behind closed doors, but could it be that he only needs your help with something he specifically wants? If so, then he is still likely to betray you...
1. Threaten to stay until he explains what he wants.
2. Challenge him and knock some answers out of the bee.
How do you get answers from Razz?
