Chapter 105 by Yellowjack42 Yellowjack42

Talk with Abby or reward Cammie first (Etna can handle Bea).

Prinny 911

I sighed, rolling up my metaphorical sleeves and preparing for some of the best method acting I have ever participated in in my life. Turning to Etna I leaned in, kissing her softly on the lips with a grin, "Don't worry, I've got this...and no matter what, you're always my Beauty Queen." Etna nodded, half in acceptance and the other half of her concentration attempting to shield herself from the ogling stares that Bea was directing at her. With that I left the room, following Abby and hoping that I was able to catch her before she did something drastic.

Sure enough Abby had returned to her duties, cleaning the living room with a near inescapable eye as dust and other grime fell beneath her touch. "Abby?" I ventured, looking at the Prinny with a curious gaze. Without missing a beat Abby turned to me, her head bowed down as she responded, "Yes Master John dood?" "Abby," I said with a much more gentle tone, walking up to Abby as my voice grew softer, "Are you alright?" Abby nodded quickly, her hand wringing the cloth she had been using but saying nothing about it, "Yes Master John, I'm just cleaning up the front room dood."

"What's wrong Abby?" I asked, my hand gently cupping the side of her face and attempting to turn her focus towards me. Abby quickly jerked away, her head turning away so as to not be in contact with my skin as she spoke, "Nothing Master John, there's nothing wrong dood." Abby was a terrible liar, from the quiver of her voice to the near constant twisting and clenching of her fists it was easy to see that there was something amiss.

Instead of speaking words I instead wrapped my arms around her, pulling her into my body and hugging the obviously distraught girl, her body tensing sharply but slowly, gradually loosening and falling into my touch. "What's wrong," I mumbled, my face buried into her golden tresses as my voice came out as a comment rather than a question. For several moments Abby remained silent but eventually she spoke, her voice muffled but understandable all the same, "W...why?"

Turning my head to the side I layed it atop Abby's, stroking her long blond hair as I replied, "Why what?" I could feel a warm wetness begin to seep through my shirt, something I guessed was linked to tears as Abby sniffled, "Why Mas...Why Etna? Dood...why her?" I sighed and pulled Abby closer, thinking on my feet as I spoke again, "Because Abby, Etna is Etna and you are you, nothing will change that. I love Etna in a way that I can only love her, there is nothing like what I feel for Etna." At this I felt Abby try to pull away, her sobs coming faster, her fists balling in my shirt as she tried to **** me away. "But," I suddenly spoke, freezing Abby in her tracks, "That can go both ways too..."

Abby turned up to me with confused eyes, her Prinny hat gazing hopefully as she quietly spoke, "Wh...what do you mean dood?" I leaned down and kissed what little of Abby's forehead I could, smiling soft as I spoke, "I mean that I love Etna in a way that I can only love Etna...but I also love you in a way I can only love you." Abby's eyes began to shimmer with tears, her voice gaining a distinct sniffle, "R-Really? D-Do you mean it dood? But what about-" I leaned down, my lips gently laying themselves upon Abby's as I held her tight. Instantly I felt her body react, her arms clutching onto me, holding me as if I were the last piece of land she had seen from months at sea. It was...I don't know. There was something to be said about being in this position but I really don't know what the hell it was...oh well, go with the flow I guess.

I broke the kiss, my face pulled into a smile as Abby seemed to stare with a glazed look in her eye, "What I said earlier wasn't entirely what I meant. I will think of you mainly as a friend Abby, this is the truth...but, I will also think of you as a lover, as someone I hold dear and close to me, someone I would protect for the rest of my life Abby. I promise this for Etna and now for you, and I always keep my promises." I would like to thank my addiction to television and some Anime shows for that performance because it took off like a rocket, Abby's face breaking into a smile so wide I thought that her head would snap off. "Thank you John!" Abby said with insane excitement, her body pulling so close to mine that I thought we would meld for a moment. However as quickly as it happened Abby broke off, her smile still firmly set in place as she said, "Now I want you to get ready for tonight dood! I swear it'll be the longest night of your life!"

With that Abby left in a blur, leaving me alone and with plenty of questions. Had I helped or had I unleashed something terrible? Were we alone or had someone been watching? And most of all...what the hell was going on tonight?!

Any answers?
