The Detective

"Get the hell off him right now, you sicko..." The woman yelled as she grabbed Jessie and pulled her off.

"Wait... Wait..." Patty yelled "I let her. I let her..."

One of the other cops tossed a blanket over Patty to give him some decency.

"You let her have sex with you?" The detective asked as Jessie was hauled away.

"Yes. I swear... she was going to turn herself in if I got her pregnant." Patty said.

The older woman sighed.

"Alright.... let's get you back into town, we can talk on the way."

Jessie was loaded into a police car while Patty was helped into the detective's car. He spent the ride back explaining everything. When they got the police station, Billy was waiting for him.

"PATTY!" his boyfriend screamed as he ran up and threw his arms around him. "Thank Goddess you're safe..."

"It's okay... I'm okay," Patty said.

"What happened? What did she do you?" Billy asked quickly.

"She's got problems..." Patty said as she watch Jessie be brought into the station.

A few days later, Patty had been called into the station house. An older couple were there waiting. Jessie's parents...

"Patty... We're... We're sorry." Her mother began.

"We've been pushing her... We shouldn't have..." Her father added, looking down dejected as his wife put her hand on his shoulder.

"Jessie is pregnant..." She added... "I guess we do owe you for that... but... I... what she did was wrong and our fault in the end. I'd like to find a way to apologize, but I know I can never make up for what happened..."

"No... No you can't" Billy said, interjecting on Patty's behalf, squeezing his lover's hand.

"Excuse me." A woman in a suit said "I'm with the DA's office. I need to speak to Mr. Wiley... without the defendant's parents in the area..."

Jessie's parents got the message and walked off.

"I'm Erica Blake. I'm an asistant DA. I'll be handling the case. Come with me..."
