Good Enough

You manacle Celeste to the wall. She grins at you showing her fangs.

“You ready to be rescued?”

“Oh god! They chained me up, they’re vampires!”

You laugh. “Perfect. You have everything for the spell?”

“Yes, Mistress. Everything has been prepared.”

You nod. Now you just have to wait for Allegra.

You become a fine black mist and drift out of the room to a waiting Jenny. She is greedily slurping the blood of one of the former hunters.

“May I join you, my Queen?”

Jenny looks up and licks the blood from her lips. “Of course daughter.”

You bite into his wrist. His blood is innocent and full of flavor.

Jenny and you drain him dry. You drop his husk to the ground.

“Is Celeste set?”

“Of course, my Queen! Now we just need to wait for Allegra. I wonder how long she’ll be.”

Jenny tilts her neck, intently listening. “Not long at all. She’s here!”

You run up to the dungeon, only to find Celeste gone.

Jenny grins at you showing off her needle sharp fangs. “Now we wait.”
