IMPORTANT INFO (Writers need to read this)

A NOTE FROM FALLENSAINT:

I was asked before about what sort of technology is available so I thought I would adress that and some other things here. First for the technology:

The best way to describe the state of this planet is Steam Punk. Well, Steam Punkish. There is limited technology, such as electricity, some low grade power generators, and pump systems for running water. (Showers are available so keep that in mind if you want that kind of scene). Other small inventions are acceptable.

On that same line of thought, there are no engines so travel, mostly done by ship, is often slow. Horse and carriage sort of things. There are also no telephones, but I would not mind someone trying to recreate them from old documents. Trying is the key word in that. I don't mind inventor characters, just don't make them go overboard.

Weapons are simple. Bladed weapons like swords and spears. There are some single shot pistols, but bows and crossbows are still around. No rifles yet, but that can come later. I did allow for ships to have cannons, but they are restricted only to ships for now.

Gene tampering: In two (Possibly 3) different storylines it has been mentioned that there has been gene tampering in the past back on earth. One I approved and the other I made. I don't mind this at all. In fact, I think it makes things more interesting in some cases. Just don't get too crazy with it please.

Vaults: Ah yes, the places where all the best tech is hidden. If you want a character to find and open one, that is fine. The only thing I have to say about that is to make the story of them finding it interesting and a challenge to the character. These things have remained hidden because they are extremely hard to find and open. As for what is inside.... That can be up to the writer for the most part. Personally, I had visions off a vault filled with only perverted things but that seems more like wishful thinking. Weapons, amazing tech, kinky stuff... All of it is allowed.

Now I'll do some character notes.

Sasha Grey: She is a special character. I've approved Manbear's direction with her from the bar scene, but I want to see her in a lot of different situations. She can show up in just about any storyline, but not if you plan to make the stories meet. For instance, Lana and Brenan might meet in multiple story lines. If Sasha is in one of them, then that same story line for Lana can't meet her if she crosses into Tir's story. This would put Sasha on two ships at once. It is possible for Brenan's story to be before Tir's, making Sasha a little younger. That would allow her to have left Brenan's ship before joining Tir's.

All in all, I'm just wanting the make sure the story flows and makes sense in that area. One more note about her. If you want to expand upon her backstory, contact me first. Her connection with the Vaults is the key to her backstory but it is not something I just want guessed at.

Other characters: If you want to add in characters or make several scenarios for existing ones then go right ahead! This is all meant to be fun and to see how creative this can get. If you want to introduce new technology then conctact me and I'll probably approve it as long as it doesn't cause too much trouble being introduced. Can't intro a tank onto a battlefield where everyone uses swords lol.
