Chapter 3 by FallenSaint FallenSaint

Any more notes.....

Guidelines, Groups, and Religions.

Ok I was asked to make some things clear. I've been meaning to do some of these anyway but other things were mentioned that I didn't think of. First some guidelines.

**** (Sexual or otherwise):

If there is some kind of **** scene or something, such as where the prison scene in Winlay's story seems to be heading, do not go crazy. I don't want to see limbs cut off. This includes men having their dicks removed or women being screwed up physically. Personally I don't like ****, but I know that for something like how this world is set up it happens. Winlay's story is the most open to that but don't get sick with it.

Thread length:

Threads don't have to be super long, but don't make them too short either. What's too short? A single paragraph is for sure. Threads that are considered too small may be deleted or the writer may be asked to add more length.

Detail:

A story unfolds easier if the readers know what is going on. This is done through details. Adding details makes the world richer and helps make the story more interesting. I'm not saying you have to drown us in details, but give us enough to get an image of the world around the characters. I know I don't always give enough detail too and I've been trying to work on that.

Now for Religions:

All the "Old Earth" religions are still on Pandora, but the Church of Xelta keeps then running. Old religions are now considered heresy. Some of the islands are home to nothing but old religions, but both Veertor and Cryn are dominantly Xeltan. There is a small island south of Cryn I was planning on adding in soon that was home to a group of Shinto priests and a castes of Samurai and Ninja. (Which is where a lot of the Cryn assassins get their training hint hint). Although I'm sure it is already quite clear, whenever someone says "The Church" they are probably refering to Xelta.

GROUPS:

Templar:

These knights work for the Church, keeping the believers safe and acting as an internal police **** and field army. Although the Church is supposed to be Neutral in the fighting, their knights have fought against both sides when it suited the Church's needs. The Templar took their name from the old Earth Christian Knights Templar. Although they no longer fight for Christ, these knights are just as deadly as ever. many of them are good and honorable men, but hidden amoung their ranks is an evil as great as what pollutes the Church.

Chevalier:

A mysterious group of warriors and assassins. Their numbers and finacial backers are unknown. The only information available at the moment is that they have fought against the Templar and the Church many times and that they gladly put themselves in harms way to protect innocent lives. Chevalier where once known as French "Horsemen" or better known as Knights. This group has been seen in Winlay's story arc to have infiltrated both the Initiates and the Templar. One reason for their presence has been shown, but perhaps there is more than one?

Cryn Assassin:

Cryn assassins have roots based in the Japanese Ninja. They are known as some of the best warriors on Pandora and can be just as dangerous alone as they can be in a group. The Assassins work in pairs and usually their numbers do not go above half a dozen. It is only for extremely dangous or important missions that their numbers may reach a full dozen. Cryn assassins have their own internal caste system with Elders ranking the highest. Elders get their orders from the Council and then give those orders to the second highest caste, the Wraiths. Shin is one of these Wraiths. Next are the phantoms, then Ghosts, and finally shadows. Wraiths and Elders can work alone, but all others must be in pairs. It is common for Shadows, being the lowest rank, to actually work in groups of three or four instead of just pairs. To continue to be a powerful ****, they have been very picky about who is allowed to be a member. As such, if you are not born into one of the castes, it is nearly impossible to join without showing incredable skill. The only downfall to this is that the number of assassins is always low. (Currently the only group at its maximum is the one with Shin that has not made an appearance yet. The one in Lana's arc is at half its fighting **** because they do not know the dangers of Riversnake Island.)

I'm sure I'm forgetting to add something but if so, I will add it in when I think of it. thank you for your time and thank you for enjoying and adding to Paradise pandora.
