There are too many bugcatchers around!

You wish you could just take your time and explore more of the forrest. After all, there are a lot of different pokemon to catch here. But unfortunately you only have two days to reach Pewter City and fight Blue in your rematch. On the other hand, you will have to be strong enough to defeat him. You don't think that your sanity would survive two weeks of servitude to Blue; two days will be bad enough. Just the mere thought of losing to Blue makes you shudder with flashbacks of being lead around as a naked pet, **** to crawl at your master's feet. Damn it! This constant horniness is twisting your thoughts, keeping your mind tense with sexual frustration and desire. Luckily, all those bug types in this forrest are a real turn-off, or you would go mad for sure!

Speaking of bug types, there is yet another of these creepy dudes with hand nets! You have already beaten three of them. Seriously! Who expects to win a fight with a team of bug type pokemon? You are basically screwed if your opponent has something other than a grass type pokemon. You mean, nobody around here has a psychic or dark type pokemon, anyway, so more than one bug on your team would be a waste. At least they make good training for squirtle! You can sense that it wont need much more experience to evolve, which would be a big help in defeating Blue. "Hey, I challenge you to a fight!" you shout at the startled bugcatcher. They are always so mad when you scare off some stupid bug. You smile at him. But apparently, this bugcatcher is different: he brings a scyther to the battle! You better go big on this one, so you chose squirtle.

The fight starts off fast with a quick attack from scyther. You barely have time to order squirtle to withdraw, but it does at the last moment making the scythe glance off of its shell. You order squirle to follow up with water pulse, but scyther evades your shot with double team. Both sides exchange blows for a short while without either scoring a significant hit. You need to come up with a strategy, or you might very well lose this fight. Ideally, you would take the fight to close quarters against an enemy that agile, but you can't really use a dark type attack like bite against a bug type pokemon. That would just be stupid! You need to think of something unusual... That's it, you could use skull bash! It raises your defense and deals massive damage when the opponent closes in on you. When scyther comes in to attack you with fury cutter, you order squirtle to attack with skull bash. You take the brunt of two hits, but squirtle soldiers through the pain and lands a perfect hit with skull bash, knocking scyther out. But now squirtle looks absolutely beat. It wont last through another fight without a break.

When the bugcatcher sends out ledyba for round two, you decide to exchange squirtle for metapod. This round will probably take a while, so you make sure to give squirtle a potion and some rest, as metapod uses harden to shrug off ledyba's tackles. A few more tackles later, metapod is still standing strong. The bugcatcher looks on and appears to be thinking hard, when he suddenly calls out: "ledyba, use swift." Ledyba promptly complies, and and charges at metapod with high speed. Unfortunately for the bugcatcher, ledyba doesn't quite hit metapod straight on, so it glances off slamming into a tree at high speed. It is unable to continue this fight. You collect a few dozen bucks of prize money, and decide to rest here for a few minutes.
