The Elephants of the Sea

"Dolphins! They are super cool!" Molly said, excitement painted onto her face.

Lauren groaned, not really wanting to encounter other animals; especially in the manner of how she was dressed now. But she was not the one who made the choices, seeing as she had a leash strongly wrapped around her.

"Let's head to the dolphins then!" Rachel said, happy her girls and Lily all seemed to be coexisting well together.

"Um. Could I see the map? I'd like to know where we're headed." Lauren asked, getting a smile from Rachel who handed her the map. Damnit. The dolphins were all the way on the other side of the zoo! In the aquatic section. Whatever. She could put up with walking over there.

The walk over was, exactly as Lauren, expected. The shoes were tight, the diaper annoying, and the whole outfit no getting her a second glance by anyone in the park. It struck her confidence dep that not even one person thought her worthy of being an adult. So stuck up on that thought, Lauren ran right into Rachel's butt, not having seen them stop.

"Lily! No more map if you can't pay attention." Rachel said, taking the map from Lauren's grasp. They were in a smaller section of the zoo, getting to see the dolphin's exhibit. Inside, a woman in a wet suit swam among the dolphins, emerging to meet the crowd of people.

"Hi everybody, and welcome to the aquatic section of our zoo!..." The woman continued on, eventually allowing them come close to open-air body of water and lean over to pet the dolphins. Lauren did it, annoyed that she even had to be here.

"Wow. Really amazing." Lauren said, her sarcasm lost on everyone. Azula the dolphin, snot peaking up out of the water, recognized that phrase anywhere. Attack!

Nine years earlier…and a few minutes after seeing the elephants...

Lauren laughed as she saw Rachel nearly dragged by her ear out of the zoo. What an idiot. Anyway. She could hang with other people, like Britney or Jessica. Walking with Jessica, both rolled their eyes as a fat old man lectured on the importance of sea life to the biosphere.

"Jessica. I think that dolphin likes you." Lauren said, pointing at the dolphin which seemed to be following her everywhere. Jessica smiled, amused.

"Think so?" She asked.

"Yeah, let's go pet him." Lauren said, walking up the steps with the girl. The dolphin, eager for potential treats, followed them right up to the open air, coming out of the water. His snot came out of the water, followed by him floating there. Maybe these two humans would hand over some treats!

"Wow, he really is quite beautiful, even if that nerdy old dude it ruining it with all his blabber." Jessica said, reaching out to run her hand over the dolphins nose. Azula allowed it, knowing humans loved to touch for some reason.

"Wow. Really amazing." Lauren said, annoyed that her friend cared. Noticing the perfect position Jessica was in, Lauren used her right foot to directly push the girl into the dolphin, who shrieked loudly as he felt the weight of a human **** itself onto him.

Immediately, the old man stopped his lecture to observe what looked like the dolphin attacking a young girl. Lauren stood there, looking innocent and worried. As they calmed the dolphin down, Lauren explained the situation to Mr. Jenkins, who trusted her word.

"Jess just, well she wanted to swim with the dolphin. I kept telling her no. But she jumped in. I'm sorry Mr. Jenkins, I should've...." Lauren said, making fake tears.

The tears stopped as she saw a dripping wet Jessica leaving the zoo to go home early. Lauren always won.

In the present, Lauren stared at the dolphin, locking eyes with it. Why did it look so...different? Before she had time to think, Lauren noticed the nose raise itself up, and then shriek as it grabbed onto her hair and pulled Lauren in.

Blindsided by the sudden rush of water into her mouth, Lauren was captive to whatever the dolphin wanted to do. It yanked and shook her around by the hair, dragging her around the enclosure of water roughly. Eventually, Lauren began to struggle, but it was too late. She felt herself getting ****. Seeing the world go black, Lauren lost consciousness.

She awoke soaking wet and covered in towels, hacking up water and feeling someone pushing down on her chest. Coughing over and over again, Lauren felt herself slowly getting better and able to breath as the pressure on her chest stopped. Words filled her ears.

"Miss, I'm so sorry about that. Azula has never attacked someone, let alone a child; I have no idea what got into him!" Lauren heard the voice say. Wait a minute...That voice.

"Is she okay? Is a dolphin strong enough to break bones?" Rachel's voice asked, as Lauren's eyes shot open and she sat up. "Lily! You're alright! My goodness, we were worried you drowned.

"I'm okay. I...." Lauren began to say, stopping her sentence to throw up the remaining water in her stomach. "All good."

Lauren looked at the woman speaking to Rachel. It was...no. Jessica? She hadn't spoken to the girl in years, never since that day, but did know she decided to stay in her hometown. She worked at the zoo now? With the very dolphin she had been pushed into? Besides for that fact, Lauren felt rage fill her as she noticed Rachel in the wet suit. It was more then flattering. Pushing her chest up and out, giving her bottom the nicest curves...god. She looked positively gorgeous.

"We have a medic on the way to check over body. Of course, we'll provide you a new set of clothes for her to change into, free of charge." The medic, an attractive young man who looked more like a life guard from Bay Watch then a doctor, checked Lauren's full body. His closeness to Lauren briefly made her forget how she was dressed.

"I think she is fine medically speaking. You stated she was grabbed by the hair, and I think the dolphin took a few inches from her hair. Other then that, I am confident she has nothing sprained or broken." He said, rushing off to another call.

Lauren looked around. Her hair? Feeling the length, she gasped in horror. She has lost several inches! No, almost the entire length of her beautiful hair! Getting Rachel's phone to use the camera, Lauren shrieked at the sight.

A bowl cut! The dolphin had given her a bowl cut! Unfucking....how! It looked horrid, like someone had given a blind person clippers. It framed Lauren's face terribly too. Feeling her hair, Lauren's eyes stayed wide.

Rachel, noticing Lily's wide eyes and tears, assuaged the girl. "It looks good sweetie. It'll grow back soon." Lauren wanted to scream. She gritted her teeth. Get new clothes and get out of here, she promised herself.
