Chapter 27 by HighGrove HighGrove

Next Time on TNHBP: Probably Not Sister Sex

True Love Cannot be Masked

It's not until Ginny shuts the door behind you that you realize two things. First, this is her bedroom. You aren't entirely up to date on all the ins and outs of royal courtship? But even you know that this is a wild leap forward in the usual process of things. And secondly, there isn't a maid in sight. You definitely know that being in her room unchaperoned is a huge no-no. You can practically hear every grandmother in the realm fainting in unison, set to the score of a thousand fans snapping over to cover a thousand shocked gasps. This is simply not the way things are supposed to be done.

Though all of that is handily trumped by point three, which is shut up fuck you let's see where this goes.

Ginny hesitates at the threshold, her eyes eyes flitting between you and the floor in an irresistible display of embarrassment. "So, um, you heard that Lady Gwendolyn is engaged?" You nod, and she heaves out a nervous breath. "Well she's getting married soon, and so we've decided to send all my suitors home for now."

"I see. Well, I--"

The princess cuts you off, her fists clenched resolutely at her side. "But I don't want to send them home for now. I mean, they should just stay home forever. I don't want any of them. There's only one person I want."

A sharp twinge pierces your chest as you do your best to work through this development. "Who...who do you--"

Ginny steps forward, and on instinct you take a step backwards. "You're the best out of all my suitors. It's obvious. It's been obvious since day one. Even if I wanted..." She trails off, eyebrows knitted, then fiercely shakes herself and gets back to what sounds like her prepared speech. "Any girl would be lucky to have you. I would be lucky to have you. Right?"

"I...don't know what to say."

"Don't say anything. Please don't say anything. Just...after Auntie Gwen's wedding, you're the only one who's coming back. Okay?" She takes your silence as agreement, a shaky smile crossing her sweet face. "But, um, I feel really bad about having to cancel our date. So I thought m-maybe I could..."--She fumbles her hand underneath the balcony of her breasts, a familiar snap ringing out--"Give you a going away present?"

Your next blind step backwards sends you tumbling back into an armchair, leaving you to stare dumbly at Ginny as she carefully slips between your legs, carefully spreading open the concealed window in her dress. It's really happening. The thing you have been dreaming of ever since you woke up confused and pink-haired in this insane world. Finally. There is Ginny and here are you, and your respective parts have at long last come to the end of the journey fate set them on. This is It.

So why, why why WHY, can't you just shut up and let it happen?!

One look at Ginny gives you all the answer you need. She's putting up a brave front, and you doubt that anyone else in this exact situation would be able to tell what she was feeling right now? But you can. So you can't. Your sister stiffens as you gently place your hand on top of hers, halting her just as she had begun to slid them down your thigh. "Ginny...do you really want to do this?"

The princess can't seem to bring herself to meet your eyes. After a long moment of silence, she simply sniffs and shakes her head.

"It's okay Gunny; you don't have to--"

Ginny's increasingly frequent sniffles clearly won't hold back her tears for long. "N-no, I should. I have to. I,"--She hiccups--"I have to stop f-fooling myself. Stop waiting for something impossible. He won't..." The princess stops herself short, looking as if she's said more than she intended. After a moment, though, she slumps her shoulders and continues in a **** murmur. "There's someone else. I want someone else. I...I love someone else. But it's impossible."

You lean forward in your seat, still holding tightly onto Ginny's hand. "Why? Why is it impossible."

She shakes her head, not even trying to hold back the tears wetting her cheeks as she hiccups again. "It's just...it's just impossible. It's crazy. I'm crazy. And he...h-he would never want it. Want me."

"He does, Ginny; I'm sure he does."

Ginny manages a grateful smile at that, beautiful and heartrendingly sad all at once. "Thank you, but...you don't know. You couldn't."

"I bet I do. I bet he feels exactly the same way about you, Ginny."

She clearly doesn't believe you, but equally enjoys hearing you say it. "Yeah?"

You nod solemnly. "Yeah. I bet you're all he can think about."

"That would be nice."

"I bet...I bet that you're all he has in the world. That's it's always been the two of you, and that he'd do anything to be with you."

"That's--" Ginny's nails dig into your hand as she tenses up, a curious light flashing across her eyes. "...He'd do anything?"

"Yes. Do anything....um, be anything....Anyone..."

Ginny bites her lower lip nervously, raising her trembling hand. She pensively slips her fingers underneath your mask, then hesitates, emerald eyes quavering. "You're...are you...? Big...?" She swallows hard, then lifts her hand to lift the black bandana clear from your face. And then it's just you and her, face to face. "It's you. It was you."

This would be the perfect moment to say something smooth. "Um, yes." Oh fuck you. "Are you uph~!"

Your continued failure at eloquence is mercifully cut short when Ginny surges forward, throwing her arms around your neck as she passionately draws you into a molten-hot kiss. It's all you can do to keep up, wrapping your own arms around her waist as she crawls up into your lap, your tongues passionately caressing as the princess presses herself has tightly to you as she can manage. The world falls away in that moment; there's nothing besides you and Ginny, finally freed to share your true feelings and desires with one another.

She draws back after a long, blissful moment, sparkling with happiness as she starts to say something. You don't give her a chance, Ginny erupting in a fit of giggles as you lean forward to catch her in another kiss. Her giggles are soon peppered with moans as you kiss her deeper, the girl slowly beginning to rise and fall in your lap as she her fingers play with the back of your head. Eventually she brings her hands around to either side of your face, her smile doing its best to burst clear off of her beautiful face. You just can't help saying it "I love you, Ginny."

"I love you too, Big Brother..." She giggles again, reaching down to playfully swat your chest. "I can't believe you, though! Going through all of this! When did you get so good at disguises?"

"I...just had True Love on my side, I guess?"

Ginny giggles again before giving you another soft kiss. "Mmm~" She pulls back, her ears flushing red as her glorious smile takes a turn towards the naughty. "So this is really our second or third date, isn't it? Maybe even the fourth..." She starts to chew her lower lip again, those big eyes poring straight into you as she brings her hands lightly stroke your lower abdomen. "Should we...?"

You carefully reach down, taking her hands off of you and entwining your fingers. "...no."

It's all Ginny can do to stare at you in complete disbelief. "....What, really?" You nod, and her look of disbelief turns to one of incredulity. "Why?"

Now it's your turn to blush. "Because, um....I think we should be married first."

Ginny blinks once, then twice, then squeals in pure joy as she throws her arms around you again, peppering you with frenzied kisses and babbling over and over how excited she is, and how much she loves you. Her eyes shoot open mid-smooch, your sister letting out a gasp as she rears back. "Wait! But, but what about Auntie Gwen?! What will she say? Will she even let us get married?!" Your sister wails in despair, burying herself into your shoulder. "She won't! She definitely won't!"

You cocoon the distraught girl in your arms. "Don't worry, Ginny. We'll go together, and we'll tell her that we're in love."

Your sister hiccups, sniffling against your chest for a moment. "B-but what if she says no?"

That's something you hadn't thought very much about. Or, to be more accurate, you haven't thought about it at all. You're rather like the dog who's somehow managed to actually catch the car. But now that the car is in your arms, and she loves you too, you realize you've always known the answer. "If she says no, then tonight we'll sneak out of the castle and go somewhere else. Anywhere else, as long as we can be together."

Ginny knits her brow in worry. "But we're the prince and princess...can we even do that?"

"I don't know. I don't care. I don't need to be the prince, Ginny. I need you."

Ginny sniffs one last time, and then smiles with a nod. "I don't need to be princess, either. I just need you."

That settles that, then.

And so that's how an hour later you wound up standing in front of your very shocked looking aunt, her hair still wet from her bath as she tries to work her way through what her very serious-looking niece and nephew just told her. "You're...you're in love?"

Ginny nods in firm resolve, reassuringly squeezing your hand. "Yes, Auntie Gwen."

"With each other?"

"Yes."

"And you want to get married?"

It's your turn to nod. "We do."

"To each other?"

"Yes."

A moment later you and Ginny are sharing a baffled look, Aunt Gwen's arms thrown gleefully around the two of you as she squeezes you into her soft bosom. "Oh my God, I can't believe it! Finally!"

Uh, what?

Yeah, What?!
