Introduce yourself

Stepping out of the bushes, the mantis girl still hasn't noticed you. Considering she had no eyelids, you kind of assumed they were open, and they might just be and she's just too preoccupied. So you let out a polite cough, which had a surprising effect. You expected her to jump a bit, but not halfway up the tree. This leaves you standing on the ground, looking up the mantis girl who is clinging for dear life to a tree branch and breathing heavily.

The two of you remain like that for what seems like forever, when she finally moves, inching backwards and causing you to reach out a hand and call out, "No please, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to surprise you. I just happened to be passing by, and I felt it would be rude to spy on you, but at the same time I couldn't bring myself to just leave. So ummmm... Yea, I really don't know what to say. I guess, hello is a good start?"

The mantis girl once again, suddenly just hops back down to the ground. That's probably the mantis in her, they do tend to move slow and strike fast, guess those traits remained. She looks at you in silence, her arms trying to cover her body, making her all the more enticing. When she finally speaks it's in a quiet yet high-pitched voice, her words a bit stilted as if talking was difficult. "I'm... Amy... I don't usually do things like that, but there was this smell in the air and it many me very... Anxious. It smelled like... Like..."

Her head cocked sideways in that instant-movement way of hers before she seems to lose her shyness altogether and rushes up to you. Most of what you've seen so far made you though all the residents were typically petite in nature, catering to the tastes of the customers of course. The mantis girl, or Amy as she said her name was, seemed about the same height as yourself. Then again, she did have those unusual yet sexy mantis legs, which if she unbent completely would probably be almost twice your height.

Her antenna poke your face for a moment before she lets out a gasp, "You! You're a customer!? Why are you even here?" And that's about as much as you could make out, because after that she seemed to speak so fast you could barely make out a word. Really, it made sense she would be a bit excited, you were indeed a customer and you can't imagine too many found themselves out here with a broken bike. You let her ramble for a bit until she finally calms down.
