The internet nowadays work differently then a hundred years ago but the principle is the same. There are just 3 different types of internet now. 1 for the organic fleshy people, 1 for the synthetic people and 1 for the digital people. Technically they are all still the same internet but the languages used and difference in speed and thinking process makes it impossible to navigate the other sections of the internet.
