Storm that room!

You storm into the room and are suddenly distracted by a very loud piercing noise. You fall to your knees and hold your hands on your ears, but that sound seems to be in your head.. After a few seconds it is over and you open your eyes again and see a very big fungus right before you. It does not move but the noise obviously came from that thing before you. Calmly you retreat and hit a large table with your back.

You turn around and see that on this table is a golden statue. It seems to be the God of Civilization - Devin. He is shown as an adult man, which seems to be quite big. He wears a uniform under a coat which is hooded and fails at covering his face. His eyes seem to stare at you, while that orb, made of some kind of crystal, which he carries in his right hand, seems to be glowing.

After you take your eyes from the statue you see a bookshelf just behind him.

Just after another short look around you now know, that there is a wooden door to the east and an archway to the south.
