The Donuts are not too bad.

You take a bite of a donut. It tastes fine. It is a chocolate glazed donut. "How long have you been working here, Sadie?" Grana asks. "For a few years, I took over the place after Mr. Smiley decided to open a different business," Sadie says. "You work here alone?", You ask, "No, well, I used to work with a good friend of mine. He ended up having to leave before the virus got to him. Now that I think of it, how are you fine here Alex?", "I am immune to it, cannot be hurt.", "No one tried to experiment on you?", "I am not the only person. Few know it anyways.", "I see. Well, either way, it is cool to be able to talk with someone that isn't just my mom. Nothing against her, but it gets old and tiring to just talk to the same one person all the time, ya know?". "Yeah, I understand. My mom is very protective, luckily not overbearingly, but is still very worried.", "Yeah, it is their job, though.", "I don't think of my mom negatively because of it. It just gets annoying sometimes.", "Yeah, you said it.". You all talk for another few hours, mostly about life and such. But as you all talk, a loud sound is heard from outside. You see the crystal gems fighting a corrupted gem through the window, likely one that the Diamonds had not saved. "One of those? I thought we got them all!" Sadie says. Luckily the gems take care of the bear-like monster quickly. You and the two girls walk outside. "What happened?" Sadie asks them, "Some corrupted gems were hiding underground. We are going to get what we can and bring them to the Diamonds.", Pearl answered. "How many are there?" you ask, "We don't quite know, but there is a lot of them, and the gems in town will be keeping an eye out.", "Hopefully, not too many will appear here, I did fight one, but I barely beat it without Steven and Lars' help.", Sadie said. The gems walked back to the house, but you guys decide to speak with Sadie about something important, so you two bring her inside and ask to speak to her in the back.
