Does Raven simply meditate and wait for Ssakcik or does she have other ideas?
Raven gives up.
After finishing breakfast Raven decided to pass the 12 hours meditating. As she sat in the cold room, naked and floating, it seemed she couldn’t clear her mind completely of the situation she was in.
‘I should just give in. I can’t escape. I can’t win. I’ll never be able to look myself in the mirror again if I do but I doubt he’ll let me do that anyway.’ Raven thought to herself as her body began to sink back down to the cold ground. When her butt hit the rock floor she knew her true resistance was over.
She still felt she needed to be herself though, especially if perhaps this was going to be the last time in a long time she would get the chance. In the bottom of the tea cup Raven found the remnants of the tea leaves, ground them up between her fingers and used the dark fluid to write a message on one of the cold, blank walls.
I really don’t love you
And I suppose I never will
But if it’s what you want
Obedience you instill
This place is my hell
The four walls at which I stare
You take me to the edge
And leave me waiting there
You I will obey
At your side I will stay
All I beg is in exchange
You please let me play.
After scrawling out the last word to her sad goodbye poem Raven lay back down on the cold floor and tried to sleep to pass the time until Ssakcik returned.
