Crashing Wave Kingdom

After returning, you start having the monster parts refined into artifacts. This helps greatly improve your commerce, effectively improving the Kingdom’s entire economy! Your children also become old enough to begin ordinary cultivation. You spare no small amount of wealth in order to provide them treasures to improve, allowing their cultivation’s to quickly improve. Now that they’ve begun cultivating, you have powerful defensive artifacts made for them. On this day, a man named Ban Kenjiro has come to visit you. He just happens to be the King of the Crashing Wave Kingdom, a nation far vaster than your own, rivaling the Sayomi Empire.

“It’s nice to meet you King Yang! I’ve heard much about you!” King Kenjiro says.

“The pleasure is all mine! To what do I owe this honor?” You respond!

“I’ll be blunt then, I’ve come in hopes to rope your kingdom in! I fear my nation is near the brink of war, and your Kingdom has amazed quite the military might!” King Kenjiro explains.

“You wish to rule our kingdom, and use our army? What benefits do you offer?” You ask curiously.

“Not only would I support your kingdom under my rule, but I specifically have a treasure I wish to grant you if you accept.” King Kenjiro says, before pulling out a dark purple crystal. Although only the size of a fist, you can sense an absolutely extraordinary amount of space power contained within.” This is an Immortal space jade crystal. I’ve tried giving it to our kingdom’s master of space, but it’s power is simply to profound for him to refine. If your capable of doing so, I believe you’ll become the greatest master of space within this world!” King Kenjiro explains. The offer is extremely tempting, but how can you sell your people out so easily?

“What if we establish an alliance instead! After all, I’d feel I’d bring disservice to my people if I join your for my own benefits.” You say, causing him to give an evil grin.

“That my work, but I don’t want our alliance to be flimsy! How about we have one of our children marry!” King Kenjiro says, clearly going to propose this offer from the start.

“I won’t **** my children into an arranged marriage, if that’s not what they want they want. How about we have them meet, and see if any of them feel an attraction to one another!” You say.

“Then let’s do that then!” He says, putting the crystal away. Although he tries to hide it, he’s a bit disappointed that you didn’t agree right away. Soon after you set up a meeting with your kids. They all a bit stiff at first, but eventually seem to get along. It looks like nothing more than friendship. That’s until you notice Yan Yang with his son Futaki Kenjiro! They really hit off talking about music, and dancing, and frequently laugh together. While it’s quite common for cultivatiors to get comfortable with each other easier than normal, it feels like the two have been lovers for years.

“I chose him father! I want to be his bride!” Yan Yang whispers to you when she has the chance. Your a little surprised that she’s already decided, despite the connection they’ve seemed to have found.

“Very well! Be sure to let me know if you change your mind though! Don’t feel like you have to go through with it, just because you agree to now!” You whisper back.

“I won’t! I’ll let you know!” Yan replies. Shortly after that, the two have them become betrothed to each other!

“Although I’d like to wait to their actually married, I need you ready when war breaks out!” King Kenjiro says, handing you the crystal.

“I’m sure it’ll work out fine!” You say. You then head back, warning Kuga that your not to be disturbed, before entering retreat. You then begin to refine the crystal. It’s power practically floods into you. Your mind working at full speed to comprehend all the secrets of space flooding your mind. Your completely unaware of time or your surroundings, as you fully devote yourself to the refinement. Just as you nearly finish the refinement. You fall into a state of enlightenment.

Enlightenment has numerous triggers, and are extremely rare, but extremely beneficial. You feel the nature of space itself merge with your saint qi, granting it even greater potency. It also is rapidly improving your cultivation. Your understanding of space is also improving at an even faster rate! When the enlightenment is finished, you’ve reached the fifth level of the ancient spirit realm. Although your only at the fifth level, you estimate that your strength can rival King Kenjiro’s who’s at the eighth level. That’s also not taking into account hour extraordinary power of space ****! With your space ****, you don’t even have to fear immoral realm cultivators! When you finally exit, you find that nearly a year has passed. After being brought up to date, you thankfully haven’t missed any major developments. After speaking with Yan Yang, her infatuation seems to have only grown stronger, spending most of her time with Futaki. You then go visit King Kenjiro.

“King Yang! Your already out of retreat? I didn’t think you’d be able to finish so soon! Seems I underestimated your monstrous talent!” King Kenjiro says.

“Yes! I really must thank you for giving me such a precious treasure!” You say.

“What’s a precious treasure worth if no one can refine it! Your alliance is worth much more to me!” King Kenjiro says.” I almost forgot, my wife has requested to see you! Do you mind coming to see her with me?” He asks. Your a bit surprised as you weren’t aware that he had a wife, but it does makes sense since he has several children. You simply nod, and follow him. When you enter the room, you immediately realize that she’s very ill!

“She suffers from a type of toxic brain tumor. Any attempts to cut or poison it out, will cause it to release a lethal toxin! We haven’t been able to find a way to treat it. She doesn’t have very long left!” King Kenjiro says solemnly. As you approach, she looks over to you both.

“Honey! It’s good to see you! How are you and the kids?” She asks, her voice clearly weak.

“Good! The children are doing well! This is King Yang!” He says, speaking in a gentle tone.

“Ah! Your Yan’s father? Futaki tells me all about your daughter! He’s really fallen for her you know! I’m Kano Kenjiro!” She says. Hearing that brings you both happiness and unease.

“I’m glad! My daughter seems equally infatuated!” You say.

“I’ve heard you’ve entire an alliance with our kingdom! I wanted to ask you personally to look after my family for me!” She says.

“Of course! Though I’m sure you’ll do a good enough job yourself!” You say!

“Don’t try to get my hopes up! I’ve already accepted that I’m not long for this world!” She says, a bit dispirited!

“Why not! Once I remove the tumor, you should recover quickly!” You declare, stunning them both.

“Is it true? Do you really think you can save me?” Kano asks.

“It might’ve been dangerous to attempt before, but after refining the crystal your husband gave me, it should be fairly simple.

“If you can really save my wife, I’ll be forever in your debt!” King Kenjiro says, kowtowing.

“No need for that! I’m happy to help! Now Kano, I need you to close your eyes, and stay perfectly still.” You say. She immediately does as instructed. You then use space **** to isolate the space around the tumor. The tumor reacts, letting out its toxin, but it can escape the isolated space. You then carefully use void cutter to fully separate it from the healthy tissue. Finally you use space shifting to teleport it in the nearby empty glass. When the King sees it appear in the glass, he’s completely astonished.

“You’ve done it! You really saved her! Words can’t express my gratitude!” King Kenjiro says, unable to keep himself from crying.

“This isn’t a dream right? I’m really saved?” Kano asks, finding herself also cry.

“It’s not a dream! Your saved! Your really saved!” King Kenjiro exclaims, embracing his wife.

You simply stand their as you watch the scene. After a minute though, you return to inspecting the tumor. You then inspect both of their bodies as you come to a realization!
