A couple things

"So we don't have a definitive timeline on when we're leaving, but Annabel needs to be out of her shop in a week. I was figuring whenever she was ready is when we would set out" you lay out a general plan.

"I'm just renting this place from Boris anyways, and I don't have any agreement on when I can or can't back out" she replies.

"Bruce and I could be ready to leave no later than tomorrow I bet".

"Bruce" you ask her raising an eyebrow.

"Oh...you wouldn't know Bruce would you. I'll be right back" she says looking back at you as she walks out the front doors.

A moment later she returns and she isn't alone. Behind her an adult iguanodon walks in on all fours. It stands at about 9 feet at its shoulders. It has light green skin with darker green strips along it's back and down its sides. It is probably twenty five to thirty feet long from snout to the tip of its tail if you had to guess. Once fully inside it raises up to stand on its hind feet and towers over all of you. Including Copper.

"John this is Bruce, Bruce this is John" she says introducing the two of you.

"He's a big softy. A lover not a fighter" she adds. You step forward and Bruce lowers himself down to sniff your face. Seemingly satisfied Bruce let out a rumble from his chest. You reached up and stroked his cheek.

"Hello Bruce" you say with a little awe in your voice. It hits you suddenly just how cool it is to see these Dinos up close like this. After a few moments of petting Bruce you step back.

"Copper, this is Bruce, Bruce, this is Copper" you say introducing the two Dinos. You smirk as Copper walks forward staring at you like he's trying to figure out why you're introducing him to a herbivore, but once they are close enough he focuses on Bruce.

They sniff each other nose tip to nose tip. Bruce looks at you while Copper snakes his head over to look at Jane. Seems they figured out who their owners were pretty quickly. Copper looks back to Bruce and issues a couple raptor barks, and Bruce rumbles out his own call as he looks back to Copper. Seems like they are going to get along just fine you think to yourself. Jane steps beside Bruce and puts her hand on his side.

"This guy can carry anything I'll want to bring along" she says patting his side. You don't doubt it.

"Well doesn't sound like the plan is changing then. You two" you point at Annabel and Jane "will get whatever you want to take with you packed up, and we'll leave when you're both ready. Would there be enough room on Bruce for Annabel's stuff" you ask.

"Should be" Jane muses "the gear I made for him has more room than I need. I'll bring him over today and you can put in whatever you need to if that works" she asks Annabel.

"That would be perfect" Annabel agrees.

"Great" you say. You look back over to the box and wonder what else is in there. One looks like a saddle of some sort. Curiosity getting the better of you.

"So what else is in the box" you say motioning your head at the box.

"Let's get Copper out of this set and into something I think you'll enjoy" she says smiling at you.

It only takes a few moments to get Copper naked again, and she pulls out the set you were assuming was riding gear. A few minutes later and your suspicions were confirmed. Copper stood before you wearing what was clearly riding gear. On his back was a leather saddle. The saddle itself was kept on by straps that ran around Copper's neck, torso, and under his tail. None of it looked like it rubbed him funny fortunately. The saddle itself angled off his back so that when he walked or ran you'd be sitting upright, and it looked like you could lean forward as well. Hanging off the saddle were stirrups for your feet. On Copper's head was a bridle with reigns coming back to the saddle. The bridle didn't have a bit like horse would have. Rather the reigns attached to two large metal rings at the corner of his mouth. The bridle gave Copper full use of his mouth, which seemed like it'd be important for mounted combat.

"Give it a try" Jane pushed you towards Copper. Copper, seeming to know what was happening and lowered himself down allowing you to easily hop into the saddle. He stood back up once you were settled.

Jane quickly adjusted the height of the stirrups, and there you sat on Copper. Something about this felt natural to you. Another instance of your skills manifesting themselves even though you've never ridden a Raptor obviously. You played with the reigns turning Copper around towards the door.

"Take him for a spin" Jane said moving to open the front door.

"I'll be right back" you said looking at Yvette and Annabel. Annabel just smiled and nodded.

"Have fun you two" Yvette yelled to you as you rode Copper out of the shop. You really wanted to see how fast Copper actually was, so you lead him towards the edge of town. It only took a minute at the pace you were going. As you got to the edge of town you told a wide eyed guard that you'd be right back.

"Alright Copper, let's see how fast you are" you patted his shoulder. Copper barked once and took off. You almost feel backwards from his sudden acceleration, but you thankfully found a hand hold on the top of the saddle. With the reigns in your other hand you leaned forward and Copper increased his speed further as you lead him in a circle around the town.

It was hard to judge speed with the wind in your face. A pair of goggles might not be a bad idea at some point. If you had to guess Copper was going close to 50 miles per hour, maybe even faster. You could feel his lungs expanding and contracting between your legs and you let out a wild yell enjoying how fun this actually was, which earned several barks from Copper. You were both completely in sync with each other. Copper would twist and turn dodging rocks or trees, and you intuitively leaned into each motion. Soon you found yourself nearing the where you left town again and you urged Copper to slow down again. He slowed to a trot as you approached the same wide eyed guard.

"Told you" you said as you trotted past him into town again. Soon you were back at the shop and Jane opened the door for you to enter. You dismounted Copper and the first thing you noticed was Copper didn't seem to be winded at all. It was like he just took a light jog or something.

"Ok, that was fun" you said walking up to Copper's front and patting his neck. Copper nudge his head against you and let out happy chirps.

"I'll bet" Jane agreed. You looked her up and down quickly noticing how excited she looked that her saddle had worked.

"Want to give it a try" you asked her. Her attention snapped to you and you could see the shock and excitement in her eyes.

"You'd let me ride your raptor" she said almost in disbelief.

"Come on, what kind of friend would I be if I didn't let you try out your own gear on your favorite type of Dino" you ask as you usher her forward. She quickly steps forward and Copper once again lowers himself down. She has a harder time climbing into the saddle, but with your help, and a little ass groping, you push her up into place. You adjust the stirrups for her and Copper stands up fully and turns towards the door.

"Just hold on when you start going fast" you say giving her a wink. She still seems like she's in a dream as you go open the door for her, but she isn't about to let this opportunity pass and soon a bright smile creeps over her face. Jane urges Copper forward and soon she's out of sight down the road.

"You realize she is never going to shut up about this" Annabel says wrapping an arm around your waist.

"I know, but she deserves some fun" you say wrapping your arm around Annabel and giving her a little squeeze. You look back at Yvette and open your other arm up and Yvette quickly snuggles into you. The three of you stare into the distance and wait for Jane to return.
