Overall it looks like this method would retain most of his flexibility while also offering protection from slashing or piercing weapons. Currently it looks like it'd make it almost to the neck of Copper, but past that it looks like she has structure to sew leather to, but has not yet. You'd love to see what a fully armored Raptor looks like, so you'll definitely push Jane to finish this at some point. About the time you finished examining the armor Jane led Copper through the shop entrance. She had a dreamy look on her face and wouldn't stop giggling to herself.

"Ok, fair enough" you agree. "Copper" you say getting the raptor's attention. "I want you to watch over Jane here alright" you tell him. Copper issues a couple raptor barks and goes to stand next to Jane. You can see a smile spread across her face as Copper takes position next to her.
