3. Relief

You see Sten pacing around when you reach the edge of the camp. He stops when you approach and seems to relax slightly. In a few long strides he's at your side and you see concerned expression over his face when he looks down. Following his line of sight you blush when you realize you're completely covered in mud. You quickly reassure him you're okay and just took a small fall while exploring. "You shouldn't have wandered off." He scolds lightly as he places his large arm around your frame and pulls you in. The sun is beginning to set and you tell Sten you're going to wash up before it gets dark. He nods and heads back over to the center of camp as you walk in the direction of the spring. After washing, you make it back to the camp just before the last rays of sunlight fade away. You don't see Sten and decide to go into the small wooden structure you've been staying in. It's dark inside when you arrive but light from the campfire outside spills in through the open door. The light reveals Sten's form sitting up in the makeshift bed on the floor. When you stop at his side you feel his hand reach up and grab your own. He gently pulls you down beside him and you feel his warm breath brush against your face.
