"Well, if you'll do anything I think there's an alternative to going to the party dressed like that. But I don't think you'll like."

"What is it?" Bianca asks, suddenly regretting her choice of words. She hadn't really meant anything, after all.

"I think I'm going to have you attend a smaller party, instead. Do you remember my friends Mark and Vignesh, from school?"

"What? No. You didn't have friends."

"They were my only friends. Thanks to you, none of the girls in school would talk to me except to call me names or humiliate me. I played DnD with them every weekend."

Bianca shrugged, "Wait, do you mean the short kid with the braces and the Indian with the unibrow? Those losers?"

"I mean the kid who won that robotics and the one who won a screenwriting contest to get an internship at Universal."

"You're not making them sound any less like losers."

"Well they're sure going to feel like winners when the queen bee of their old high school puts out for them."

"No way. That's not happening. I'll just go to this party."

"Too late for that. You said you'd do anything and I'm taking you at your word. Don't forget, you have **** in the matter anyway."

Amy took out her phone and started sending messages to her two high school friends. "Get some rest," she said, "I won't be able to set anything up until tomorrow."

Bianca started to climb up to her lofted bed, but Amy stopped her. "No, because it's our first night together, we should get off on the right foot. You can sleep in my bed. Naked. Curled up at my feet like the dog you are."

Bianca rolled her eyes but complied. Amy smiled. They'd have a big weekend together.
